The Memphis Tigers carry a four-game losing skid into their Week 11 Thursday night matchup against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane; Tulsa has lost five of its last six games. Read on for our top Tulsa-Memphis college football picks and predictions.

The Golden Hurricane started the season 2-2, including a single-possession loss to Ole Miss. However, since entering conference play, they have won just one game and lost each of their other four by at least 10 points.

The Tigers started the season 4-1, but they have not been able to do anything right in recent weeks, losing four games in a row. Two of those games came against ranked opponents, and just one of their four losses came by more than one score.

Here are our Tulsa vs. Memphis college football picks for Week 11 (odds via BetMGM and PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Tulsa vs. Memphis Odds

Tulsa vs. Memphis Odds Analysis

The Tigers opened as 6-point favorites, and despite not winning since October 1, bettors quickly backed them to move the line to 6.5. This line could move to the key number, but only FanDuel has shown any indication of this happening. They have moved the first half spread to Memphis -4 from -3.5, and Memphis is -115 to cover -6.5.

The total opened at 62 and it has dropped to 61.5 at BetMGM, DraftKings, and PointsBet. Interestingly, the total has gone up to 62.5 at FanDuel.

Tulsa vs. Memphis Picks

Memphis1110

Tulsa vs. Memphis ATS Pick

Memphis -6.5 (-110) ★★★

With neither of these teams playing well, but Memphis the more public side, this feels like a trap line from oddsmakers. However, if you look at the quality of recent opponents and the final scores in their last four games, you will see that the Tigers could just as easily be 7-2 as 4-5. The only team they had no chance of beating was Tulane.

All four of the Golden Hurricane’s conference losses have been by at least 10 points. The Tigers lost by one to Houston, in four overtimes at East Carolina, and by seven to UCF. While both of these teams are averaging over 30 points per game, and allowing the same, the Tigers seem to have a distinct advantage based on recent games.

Get in on this line soon, and expect it to move through the key number by kickoff.

Tulsa vs. Memphis O/U Pick

Over 61.5 (-110) ★★★★

62 is a lot of points, yet it doesn’t feel like enough for these two teams. The Tigers have not seen a game go Under 63 in their four-game losing streak, while the Golden Hurricane have allowed 27, 45, 53, and 31 in their conference losses.

With bettors initially backing the Under, it seems that they are reading heavily into the final score of the Tulsa and Tulane game last week. However, the Green Wave have been great defensively all season, so scoring just 13 against them is an outlier, not a trend.

In their last seven games, just one of the Tigers’ opponents has scored fewer than 28 points. Even if the Golden Hurricane don’t quite get to four touchdowns, the Tigers will do their part in pushing this one Over.

Tulsa vs. Memphis Prop Pick

Memphis -3.5 in first half (-110) ★★★★

In their last two games, the Tigers have trailed at the half, but in their two losses prior to that, they led by double digits against their opponents at the break.

Meanwhile, the Golden Hurricane have gotten off to really slow starts in conference play. They have trailed by at least a touchdown at halftime of all of their conference losses. Against Temple, they led 14-10 at the break, but they did trail 10-0 after one quarter.

The first half hasn’t been a problem for the Tigers. Based on what they have done in recent weeks, they can make this a blowout early like so many other teams have done to Tulsa this season.
