The college football season swings into week 11, and that only dials up even more pressure for various teams as they try to meet assorted goals & targets they set out for themselves back in August.

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers
Odds: Auburn -2
It’s a matchup of two of the SEC’s most disappointing teams on Saturday, as Georgia and Auburn continue the oldest rivalry south of the Mason-Dixon Line in college football. The Bulldogs shut down Kentucky last weekend, while Auburn’s offense showed signs of life in a win at Texas A&M. Both teams want to keep the momentum going, but Georgia quarterback Greyson Lambert might struggle in a road environment. Also, the return of defensive lineman Carl Lawson has greatly improved what had been a struggling Auburn defense. This defense looks a lot more like the unit the Tigers were supposed to have at the beginning of the season. Take Auburn here to cover the College Football Odds.

Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Rutgers Scarlet Knights
Odds: Nebraska -8.5
This is a game in which the Nebraska victory over Michigan State the week before should really give the Cornhuskers a boost. Nebraska has endured a terrible season, and the team was begging for something good to happen. Now that something great has occurred, this team can mentally turn the page and play the kind of football it expects of itself. Coach Mike Riley was in a lot of turmoil, but he has greatly quieted the concerns surrounding his program. However, a loss to Rutgers would bring those voices raging back to the surface. This is an important game for Nebraska’s state of mind heading into not just the next few weeks, but the next regular season in 10 months. Expect the Cornhuskers to do what they need to do against a Rutgers team which, under head coach Kyle Flood, is going nowhere. Take the Huskers here with your College Football Picks.

Utah State Aggies vs. Air Force Falcons
Odds: Utah State -1
The key point to make here is that Utah State is playing with the quarterback who – though experienced – was not supposed to be the season-long starter for this team. Kent Myers has ample experience at quarterback because the man who was supposed to start in front of him, Chuckie Keeton, has been injured. This didn’t just happen this season, either – it happened last year as well. Myers is just not as good as Keeton, but Keeton can’t stay healthy. Last weekend, it was Myers who got hit hard and had to briefly leave the game against New Mexico. Keeton came in for a few plays, but that was it. Coach Matt Wells wasn’t willing to trust Keeton, given his injury condition and his overall form. Myers came back into the game, but Utah State’s offense could not get the job done in a 14-13 loss to New Mexico which pushed the Aggies out of the lead in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West. Air Force sees an opportunity in this game, even though the Falcons have their own backup quarterback, Karson Roberts, in the game, instead of Nate Romine. Air Force, playing at home, should be able to win this game.
