It's officially week 7 in the NCAA Football season. This has been the year of the upset, but we have some tight, competitive matchups on tonight's slate. See who we like in the later Pac-12 games as these betting picks appear to stand out as ones that will be beneficial to your bankroll.

#3 Ole Miss Rebels (5-0) vs. #14Texas A&M Aggies (5-1)

A BCS Championship Contender
After a 23-17 upset of the Alabama Crimson Tide and head coach Nick Saban, the Rebels remain undefeated, come into this game with major momentum, but are yet faced with another test as a 3 point betting underdog on the road against an Aggies team that averages almost 400 yards passing per game. Texas A&M allowed 48 points in a loss to Mississippi State last week and both teams will be feeling major pressure in this game for different reasons.

This is an offense vs. defense matchup as the Rebels possess the 2nd best defense in the nation while the Aggies are used to steamrolling their opponents each week.

Texas A&M once again put up the numbers last week, led by quarterback Kenny Hill, but they allowed 280 yards on the ground and were 5 for 17 in 3rd down efficiency. Ole Miss isn't a primary rushing team and it showed last week against Bama when they managed only 72 yards on the ground, led by Jaylen Walton with just 39 yards. This is a team that wins by not turning the ball over, a top notch defense, and the efficient arm of quarterback Bo Wallace. Wallace threw for 251 yards with 3 touchdowns and no picks against Alabama and I see no reason why he'll have trouble against the Aggies defense.

The Texas A&M Passing Game
With Kenny Hill (2110 yards, 21 TD, 5 INT), it's very difficult to overlook this offense at home.Hill has a ton of receivers to throw the football to led by wide receiver Josh Reynolds (402 yards, 7 TD). There are 7 receivers on this team with over 170 yards receiving and Kenny Hill likes to throw the long ball. Look for this to be a competitive game, but I don't see Texas A&M and their offense being outplayed by the Rebels. Look for A&M to cover the small 3 point spread.

USC Trojans (3-2) at #10 Arizona Wildcats (5-0)

A Lack of Respect?
The Trojans are favored by 2.5 points on the road, coming off of an upset and playing and playing an AP Top 25 team in the Wildcats and USC is the favorite in this game. Is Arizona not as good as their record indicates or are the Trojans miles ahead of their record which contains 2 losses this season?

Unfortunately for USC, they ran into the new sensation, "The Calabasas Kid" in quarterback in Mike Bercovici who has been putting up huge unexpected numbers against high rated schools. Last week, USC allowed Bercovici to put up 510 yard of passing and 5 touchdowns as Arizona State defeated USC 38-34. Bercovici did have major motivation as he's a Southern California kid, but there's no excuse for the USC defense to allow production such as this. USC held ASU to just 37 yards on the ground and I expect them to play much better this week.

Cody Kessler
The Trojans junior quarterback might have been sorely outplayed last week by Bercovici, but the two things about this player to really appreciate is his passing efficiency and ability not to turn the ball over. On the season, Kessler has 10 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He throws in the 70 % completion percentage area and that's what a team looks for in their starting QB.

When making your college football picks keep in mind Arizona doesn't have a great defense and I expect a much better performance from Kessler. The only thing that USC has to worry about is the Wildcats passing game. This is a team averages 350 yards passing per game and is coming off of a big win over Oregon. Cayleb Jones (525 yards, 6 TD's) and Nick Wilson (574 yards, 6 TD's ) lead the Wildcats receiving and rushing attacks respectively and Arizona doesn't want to relinquish it's stronghold on a chance for a BCS Championship.

Even though USC is the college football odds favorite, I would consider it an upset for them to come into Arizona Stadium and defeat the undefeated Wildcats. Arizona's defense is quite week and look for Kessler and the Trojans to come back strong in this game.
