Can you believe that we're in the middle of NCAA Football Week 12? There are a lot of interesting matchups with some top 25 teams facing eachother in some big games. We will breaking down a couple of games on the slate looking for the betting edge to set you up with a profit for an exciting NFL Sunday.

#17 LSU Tigers (7-3) vs. Arkansas Razorbacks (4-5)
A Favorable Spread
This sure looks like a great opportunity to make some coin as you have an LSU team that's ranked in the top 20 and coming off of a loss to Alabama as they face an inferior Razorbacks team which has lost 17 straight SEC games and are yet only a 1 point underdog.

Odds makers missed the boat with this one. LSU is also known for coming back strong after their losses versus Alabama in the past few seasons. I look for LSU to pick up an easy win as their defense leads the way, allowing a mere 16.3 points per game.

A Gallant Effort
College football odds could be showing Arkansas some love as the Razorbacks gave the #1 team in the land in Mississippi State everything that they wanted and then some.Arkansas was defeated 17-10 by the Bulldogs, but carried a 10-0 lead at halftime. The Razorbacks also dominated the turnover battle and outgained the Bulldogs on the ground.

Some positive things can definitely be taken away from this game as Hunter Henry had a 110 yard game receiving while the Razorbacks defense intercepted Dak Prescott twice. That said, the bottom line is a loss and things won't get any easier.

Arkansas features the two headed monster at running back in Alex Collins (840 yards, 10 TD) and Jonathan Williams (877 yards, 10 TD). This game is contingent upon how effective that this tandem can be against the LSU defense.

Another Loss to the Tide
LSU took Alabama to overtime but was unsuccessful in their last game 20-13. Quarterback, Anthony Jennings, must have a better game here or LSU will be in trouble. Jennings was just 8 for 26 for 76 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT, but we have to remember that the level of opposition in this game is much lower.

Look for Leonard Fournette grind out a good 20 plus carries and control the offensive flow in the game for the TIgers as their defense will have no problem here. Fournette isn't a top rated rusher, but he's good for 20 carries and 80 yards per game. I don't expect a high scoring game here as LSU dictates the pace and even though Arkansas has more talent running the ball.

#9 Auburn Tigers (7-2) vs. #15 Georgia Bulldogs (7-2)
Something to Prove
You get a premiere matchup in Athens as superstar running back Todd Gurley returns from his suspension as the Bulldogs host the Auburn Tigers and quarterback Nick Marshall starting for the Auburn Tigers. Marshall was dismissed from the Georgia squad and I expect revenge to be a big factor. Nick Chubb (895 yards, 7 TD) will definitely see less carries in this game as Gurley is one of the top rushers in college football.

Gurley still leads the Bulldogs backfield with 8 TD's in just 5 games. On the season, he has 773 yards at 8.2 yards per carry. Georgia isn't known for their defense themselves, but they're going to give Auburn fits in this game with Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb. Georgia also features senior quarterback Hutson Mason and Mason does one thing really well and that's not turning the football over. On the season, Mason has 15 TD's and 3 INT's to go along with 1515 yards passing.

These teams are quite similar as quarterback Nick Marshall plays a similar style with numbers that mirror that of Hutson Mason. The Tigers defense can also be scored upon and their running game is one of the best in the country led by Cameron Artis Payne. Payne has rushed for 1190 yards and 9 TD's. With Nick Marshall as a double threat that can run and pass the ball, the Tigers will be a major test for the Bulldogs on the road.

Auburn is coming off of a 41-38 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies and we should be in another high scoring battle tonight with the return of Gurley.

When making your college football picks keep in mind that although I like Nick Marshall better at the quarterback position, the Bulldogs have Todd Gurley back and that should enable them to cover the 2 point betting spread.
