Toledo has the top offense in the MAC this season, which makes it an attractive college football pick against Northern Illinois Tuesday night.

Unblemished
Toledo is the only undefeated squad in Mid-American Conference play heading into Week 12, which can’t be ignored when making your College Football Picks, but it has dropped its last three trips to Husky Stadium by an average of 24.3 points.

The Rockets have some injury concerns heading into this primetime affair, with the biggest one being starting quarterback Logan Woodside, who left the team’s 30-20 victory over Kent State as 13-point road favorites last week due to a leg ailment.

Over the last two-plus seasons, the program is 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS in November, with the UNDER going 5-3 in that situation.

Senior Night
Northern Illinois will have 19 seniors take the field in Dekalb for the last time in their careers, which is important to consider when looking over your College Football Betting Odds, as the squad has captured 18 of its last 19 conference home games.

The Huskies’ 53 wins since 2010 ranks tied for second among all FBS teams—behind the Oregon Ducks and tied with the Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida State Seminoles.

Since the start of the 2012 campaign, the team is 7-0 SU and 5-2 ATS in Weeks 10 through 13, with the UNDER going 4-3 in those seven opportunities.

Moving the Football
The Rockets lead the conference in averaging 495.9 yards per game, while they occupy the second spot in scoring 34.4 points a contest.

Kareem Hunt is one of the more important players to handicap in this premiere matchup, as he’s fourth in the country in gaining 8.41 yards per rushing attempt, which has played a big part in gaining 100 or more yards in the ground in each of his last seven games.

Key Trend
The Huskies have won their last 31 games when rushing 45 or more times a game since 2010, but they’ll face a stop unit that leads the MAC in surrendering just 113.3 yards on the ground a contest.

It’s also important to point out that Northern Illinois has failed to cover the number in both games it lost the rushing battle in 2014.

Prediction
I’m going to recommend that readers back the Rockets as one of their midweek football picks, as they’ve gone 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight trips to this venue.
