Our College Football handicapper looks to finish the day in a big way with a trio of totals College Football picks where it is ok to lay down wagers with Johnny Q. Public.

LSU vs Auburn
Since this total opened at 46.5 it has been steadily dropping, finally hitting 44 at some books on Thursday night. This is understandable, of course, with the LSU defense only allowing 16.3 points per game, and the Auburn defense following that up with a rate of 20.7 points per game. The Auburn defense has also been a mess against solid competition, only putting up 13 points against Clemson and 16 points against Texas A&M. The LSU Tigers will represent the stiffest test for their offense yet on this young season, and they haven’t even had a game on the road yet.

For LSU’s offense, this game does represent their first test on the road, so I’m expecting them to be a little slow out of the gate. My thesis is that they will try to get the run game established with running back, Leonard Fournette, which will serve to run clock and slow down the pace. For this reason, I am looking at the 1st half line for value on the total, as it crosses the important number of 21. Take Under 22.5 for the first half of this game at BetOnline to take advantage of the defenses on display in this matchup.

Oklahoma State vs Baylor
77 is the number to watch here, as that would require a total of 11 touchdowns to reach. But this line hasn’t touched that yet, settling in at 76 at Bovada as of Thursday. These offenses are certainly capable of putting up these scores, or at least they have been so far this year. It’s just a matter if the Baylor defense can continue their strong play against the Cowboys, who have put up an average of 44.3 points per game this year. They haven’t faced an offense as capable so far this year.

Last week the Cowboy’s quarterback, Mason Rudolph, put up 540 yards passing and set an Oklahoma State record. That’s going to have their offense coming into this game with a little confidence for sure. Baylor’s offense averages 557 yards of offense per game on the season, ranked 8th in the country, but it is important to note that they have led the country in scoring offense for the last three years. This is going to be a barn burner. Take the Over of 76 at BookMaker before this line passes 77.

Washington vs Arizona
The Washington Huskies may be the best team in Seattle right now, having won six straight games while scoring more than 40 points in each one. They’ve had a pretty easy schedule so far this year, winning three home games by more than 30 points. The Arizona Wildcats present a dangerous opponent for them this week, with seemingly nothing to lose after being instilled as a 14-point home underdog.

Washington scored 49 points against Arizona last year in a game that actually went under the total as Arizona was nearly shut out. Those Wildcat offensive deficiencies are not nearly as likely to rear their head in this game, as Arizona has averaged 513.5 yards and 39 points per game at home. Putting up just a few scores could be enough to get this game over the total, and Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez, who is known to be unpredictable in his play calls, only needs a few big plays to go his way for this to happen. Washington will pull away in the end, but not before Arizona puts up a fight and enough scores to get this over the total of 58 at Heritage.
