The Cowboys and Longhorns are gearing up for a big 12 showdown. Can Texas pull the home dog upset here? We will give you 2 strons betting picks inside.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys come into this contest with an undefeated record in this early part of the season.
Oklahoma State comes into this game with to sketchy wins and one solid beatdown to boot. The beatdown came last week against UTSA. That's Univeristy of Texas San Antonio for those of you counting at home. Not exactly a powerhouse. The score was not close at all. Oklahoma State tailed up 69 points and held the roadrunners to only 14 points. Oklahoma State doinated the first half running out to a 31-7 lead.  An early fumble and return for TD put the Cowboys ahead for good. The special teams proved to be big forcing a turnover. Oklahoma State defense played great and forced many turnovers. The Cowboys have yet to face a real team this year. Can the Texas Longhorns be the first one that challenges Mike Gundy's Im a man im 40 team?

The Texas Longhorns come in with a shaky record and its been a shaky last few years for the horns.
Its unforunate the bleacher report put up a post of a Texas DE dancing prematurely at the exact moment the idiot Texas kicker shanked a game tying extra point. This seems to be a fiiting way for Texas to lose. They keep finding ways to lose football games. The losses have piled up since Mr. Strong took over the program they know the L very well. They were embarrassed by Notre Dame and edged by California, sandwiched in between was a lowly cupcake.

Oklahoma State vs.Texas Betting Preview
There was a time not all that long ago when Texas (1-2) seemed to live off of discovering new and creative ways to break Oklahoma State’s (3-0) heart. Over the last few years, though, it’s been just a game. This time around it’s the Big 12 opener for both teams and a chance to do something big. Check out the Texas vs.Oklahoma State preview and prediction. Texas was really, really fun during the second half of last week’s loss to Cal – right up until a missed extra point killed the comeback hopes. Lost in the shuffle is that California might be really good, just like Notre Dame might be really good. Texas is not really good, but it has a chance to all but make or break the Charlie Strong era – no hyperbolic pressure there – over the next few weeks.

For all the issues and all the problems so far during his tenure, if Texas can beat Oklahoma State and be 1-0 in the Big 12, the Cal loss won’t matter. Beat OSU and then shock TCU on the road, and then beat Oklahoma – or at least go 2-1 in the next three games – and everything changes.  Would beating Texas change things up for Oklahoma State? The Cowboys have played the softest of soft schedules on the way to an easy 3-0, and now it’s time to see if the team can actually play a little bit. The big games aren’t until late, with TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma all in November, and all at home, but this is the tone-setter. This is when everyone gets their chance to see just what kind of team Oklahoma State really might be.

College Football Odds & Prediction
Texas showed the spark needed late against Cal, and while Heard won’t do that again, he’ll have an effective day. Meanwhile, the unsung star in the game – Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph – will come up with a big performance, too. This should be a fun and crazy shootout with several big plays, but unlike last week, Texas will get a decent enough defensive performance to survive.  So after bad mouthing the Horns early in this article we are challenging them to stand up in this affair.  We think the value of this college football pick lies with the home dog and the Over of the college football odds. To be safe you always take the points but we see a minor upset.

Predicted Final Score: Oklahoma State 38  Texas 41
