Our resident NCAA football betting odds expert has started the college pigskin season at SBR by going a sizzling hot 13-2. Read his insightful article that breaks down the point-spread factors in the game between Arkansas/Texas A&M.

SEC Battle at the House that Jerry Built
The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas A&M Aggies will square off in a Southeastern Conference battle on Saturday. The game will be played at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kickoff time is slated for 3:30 PM ET and the game will be televised nationally by CBS. According to college football odds the Aggies are a 9.0 point favorite. These teams have seen each of their meetings in the last 2-seasons go over the total, and the average points scored in those contests was 71.5. The Aggies were a 45-33 winner at Arkansas in 2013, but failed to cover as a 13.0 point favorite.

Razorbacks Starting to Roll
Arkansas lost their season opener at Auburn 45-21, since then they’ve reeled off 3 wins in a row over Nicholls St.(73-3), at Texas Tech (38-10), and last Saturday at home over Northern Illinois (52-14). They also covered in each of those 3-wins by a whopping 70-points total. The Razorbacks 4-games this season have averaged a total of 72.3 points per contest. They’re averaging 48.7 points and 324 yards rushing per game.

Aggies Offense is Dynamic
Texas A&M went from a team receiving hardly any preseason accolades, to a team that is now being mentioned as a legitimate contender for the 4-team playoff which will determine the national champion. Their 4-0 start has been sparked by an offense that’s operating at an extremely high level. The Aggies are averaging 55.2 points and 612.5 yards offensively per game. Their first 4-games have averaged 66.9 points per contest.

Final Analysis
This game has a chance for some real offensive fireworks. This will be a high scoring affair it’s just a matter of how many points it produces. However, there’s no posted total at the time of this writing. In my opinion the Aggies are the better balanced team offensively. I’m giving them a small early lean in this contest.
