Central Michigan Chippewas vs. Michigan State should be a blowout game according to college football odds. But if they can't stop the Chippewas passing attack, this game can become interesting.

Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 26th at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. According to 5 Dimes Sportsbook, the Spartans are an emormous 27 point betting favorite with no total currently available on the college football odds. The only thing that Michigan State must do is not let their guard down as this is a game at home in which they should dominate and might possibly be able to rest some of their starters.

Cook To Burbridge
Although teams would like to have a passing offense in which they can evenly distribute the football, it's also adventageous to have a monster wideout on the wing .In quarterback Connor Cook's case, he has his favorite target, Aaron Burbridge. The Spartans offense has been very effective in their first 3 games of the season, scoring more than 30 points in each game and the combination of Cook to Burbridge is a primary reason for MSU's success.

Reasons For Success
Burbridge is one of those rare seniors that has never had a breakout season until his senior season. In his first three seasons, he has never had a season of over 358 yards.

In 3 games alone this season, he has already surpassed that total with 3 consecutive 100 yard receiving games. For the season, Burbridge has 20 receptions for 374 yards and 4 TD. While Josiah Price is a factor with 3 receiving TD's, he's second on the team in yards with just 87 yards.

Cook is the perfect quarterback for a team like this as he can deliver the ball on the mark and doesn't make mistakes. Throughout his career, Cook has had a greater than a 3 to 1 ratio concerning touchdowns to interceptions and nothing is different this season as he has 8 TD's and just 1 INT. Connor Cook won't beat himself or his team.

Where MSU's ground game is concerned, Madre London (202 yards, 2 TD) and L.J. Scott (176 yards, 2 TD) should be good enough to handle an inferior team such as the Chippewas.

Close, But Not Good Enough
Where the Eastern Michigan is concerned, they're coming off of a hard fought battle, but just came up short in a 30-27 loss to the Syracuse Orangeman. They're simply not ready for big-time football and a team the caliber of MSU.

Cooper Rush and the Passing Game
Rush might tell you otherwise as he's ready to surpass the 1000 yard mark in passing this season as he has a ton of deep threats led by tight end, Ben McCord (306 yards, 2 TD). It's very rare that you can get a tight end that can chug 86 yards for a touchdown, but McCord is somewhat undersized at 240 pounds.

Along with McCord, Rush has 5 players with 10 receptions or more and all 5 receivers have 100 yards or more. Michigan State has always been known for their defense and this game will surely come down to the MSU defense. We know that MSU will win this game, but if they can't stop the Chippewas passing attack, this game can become interesting.Let's make our college football pick from them to keep it close.
