The season is winding down but as long as there are games there are opportunities to cash in your college football picks. Let's see which matchups may be affected by inclement weather on Saturday.

12:00 PM ET North Texas vs. Florida Atlantic

Conference USA will be among the first championship games to kick off on Saturday and this year the Mean Green of North Texas will travel to FAU Stadium to take on the Owls. The game time temperature will be a sultry, at least for most of the country in December, 77 degrees but there could be a chance of showers which may slow down what should be a fast track.

However, that forecast has not affected the total one iota as the college football odds makers opened this title tilt with a 55 total and the home team favored by only a point. The over/under has not moved at any of the top online sportsbooks and the game is now a pick'em. The possibility of precipitation is scaring nobody but if you think the rains will come then get down on the under in your college football picks.

12:00 PM ET U Mass vs. Florida International

It's not coincidental that the weather in sun-splashed Miami, home of Florida International, is virtually identical to the sunny skies in Boca Raton, just 55 miles away and home of the Conference USA championship game previously discussed. Even the 20 percent chance of rain showers is the same at both venues but the east wind blowing will be a bit stronger in Miami than Boca. According to the forecast, an 11-16 mile per hour wind will be pervasive throughout the afternoon so the football may take some erratic turns when airborne.

This meeting between the Minutemen and the Golden Panthers is expected to be a shootout as the oddsmakers opened this total at 74 ½ but as of this writing, the number has dropped to 73 at most of the majors. And FIU has spiked from an 8 ½ point home favorite to 12-point home chalk which indicates the visitors are getting no love at all. Between the fluttering football and the possibility of showers, it's not surprising the total has fallen and under could very well be the sharp play of the day.

7:45 PM ET Fresno State vs. Boise State

The Mountain West Conference championship features the Fresno State Bulldogs traveling to the home of the blue turf, Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho. There is a 30 percent chance of light showers but you wouldn't know it by the surge in the total. The over/under on this one opened at 48 but that number has soared to as high as 51 at respected online sportsbooks like Bovada, JustBet, and Bookmaker. The line on Boise State has not moved an inch, as the Broncos are anywhere from 9 to 9 ½ point home chalk with the lone exception being Bovada, dropping its number to 8 ½. There will be only a slight breeze in this one so there will be no peculiar pigskin aerodynamics but if the rains do come then this one could turn into a grinder.
