I might have Saturday night fever! I took my temperature and it was nothing out of the ordinary, but I am a Saturday night chalk-eater this week, all over the favorites of which a couple are good size.

Not an easy nighttime card versus the sportsbooks, but with images of Deney Terrio in my head (Google it), I am ready to get down! We keep chugging right along with our college football picks and updated numbers are 14-8-2 ATS record on Saturday nights.

7:20 EDT - Duke vs. Virginia Tech on AACN

After starting 4-0, Duke has dropped their next four (0-3-1 ATS) and looked like a tired football team against Pittsburgh in falling 24-17 as 9.5-point home favorites. They are not getting much out of their passing offense and opposing teams are stuffing the box daring the Blue Devils to throw. The Duke run defense has surrendered 564 yards the last two weeks, thus I expect Virginia Tech to balance up the offense and have their way. The Hokies have dominated weaker offenses like Duke's this season and I expect more of the same for Blue Devils that will get much need bye next week.

Free NFL Pick: Virginia Tech -17Best Line Offered: Pinnacle

9:30 EDT - Washington State vs. Arizona on PAC12N

I completely understand why some believe Arizona can win this game. The Wildcats are one the surprise teams in the Pac-12 and they have moved up to the No.3 rushing team in the country at better than 342 yards a contest. No question this will be a terrific atmosphere in Tucson, but here is why I do not mind giving the two points on Washington State. The Cougars defense is not getting enough credit, as they are holding opponents astonishing 88 yards below their season average and to just 18.4 PPG. Arizona will rack up some yards, but finding the end zone will be another matter. Two angles I cannot ignore, Wazzu is 9-0 ATS versus teams averaging 230 or more rushing yards a game and the Wildcats are 0-8 ATS after gaining 275 or more rushing yards in two straight contests.

Free NCAAF Pick: Washington State -1.5Best Line Offered: 5Dimes

10:00 EDT - UNLV vs. Fresno State on ATTRM

With UNLV QB Armani Rogers "doubtful' with a concussion and Fresno State on fire, the Bulldogs have been pounded by those betting football from -15 to -21 in raisin country. Fresno State's only losses this season are at Alabama and at Washington. With the Bulldogs the superior team and able to generate turnovers and UNLV coughing up the pigskin, a blowout is likely. Fresno State is extremely well-coached by Jeff Tedford in his first season at helm and his team is 6-0-1 ATS this season and 10-0 ATS after a game where they committed one or less turnovers since last year.

Free NCAAF Pick: Fresno State -21.5Best Line Offered: 5Dimes
