The college football betting season motors ahead into week 7, and you’re going to see some curious conference games plus one of the great intersectional rivalries in all of college football.

Boston College Eagles vs. Clemson Tigers
Clemson -15.5
This is a game in which the spread seems low. Boston College is coming off a game in which it got shut out, and not only that, but shut out by Wake Forest, also one of the weakest teams in the ACC this season. Wake Forest has not been very good in the ACC for some time, and yet Boston College – with a combination of inexperience at several positions and some significant injuries – is just not in position to score very many points. It’s just a reality of the team and where it is. The Eagles have given Clemson tougher battles than expected on many occasions over the years, and that’s probably what’s keeping this line limited to a lower spread, but this matchup looks like a blowout for the Tigers. Clemson has an excellent defense, is playing at home, and has a very talented starting quarterback in Deshaun Watson. The Tigers have all the pieces in place to win this game by 35 points. That might not happen, but as long as Clemson is very good in this game, the Tigers should win by at least 20, and probably somewhere around 27 points. They should not allow Boston College to be very close at the end.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. North Carolina Tar Heels
Odds: North Carolina -17.5
The key point to make here is that Wake Forest, despite winning last week, scored just three points against Boston College. The Demon Deacons have a very anemic offense, and cannot be expected to do too much in general. North Carolina is coming off a bye week which follows one of the best victories the program has had in many years, a comeback from a 21-point deficit to win a game on the road at Georgia Tech. When a team scores a big comeback win and does it on the road against the team that won the division last year, it gives everyone a lot of confidence. North Carolina has a very talented offense, and it should be able to do what it wants against Wake Forest’s inferior athletes. Take the Tar Heels with your College Football Picks.

USC Trojans vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
  Notre Dame -6.5
It’s true that USC will be motivated to play after seeing former coach Steve Sarkisian lose his job for falling into all sorts of alcohol-dependence and behavioral health problems. However, simply being excited can only carry a team so far. The Trojans need guidance, and they really don’t figure to get much of it in this game. It’s been too distracting a week for USC to have had a normal amount of preparation. Notre Dame is going to be the much more prepared team here, and it’s playing at home. Take the Irish, who should win comfortably and cover the College Football Odds.

College Football Pick: Notre Dame -6.5 at Pinnacle
