Whoo-hoo! Ok enough celebrating, we need more winners for Week 13, hopefully the parlay this week is decent again for our NCAAF picks.
This week, unlike in the previous two weeks, I did wind up taking several picks from the preview videos I do each week with professional handicappers.
I took a side in the Baylor/Oklahoma St game that Troy West from AllPlaysWin.com and I agreed had some value, and which Brent from BetDSI later on told me was a sharp side as well, although at a higher line than the one Troy and I analyzed, and higher than the one I had to use in the parlay. Still, I decided to throw it in, even though as always, the sharps got the best line.
Then I also included two picks from videos with Joe Duffy from OffshoreInsiders.com. We agreed on value with the total in the Oklahoma/Kansas St game, as well as with a side in Nebraska/Penn St, and I did include both in the parlay.
Duke was a side that was identified to me as one the sharps took by Brent, and that was also one that I personally liked as well. But the sharps took it at -4 and -4.5 on the odds boards, and by the time I was picking this parlay, it was up to -6.5, so I decided to pass on it, but it was borderline.
Sharp action also came in on Oregon as a big favorite at Arizona, and that was also a side that Troy said he liked in our video, which I agreed with. But I ultimately decided against including it, partly because of the monkey wrench that expected rainy conditions could throw in.
The last 3 legs of this week’s parlay are all totals that come from my personal handicapping – totals in Vanderbilt/Tennessee, Tulsa/Louisiana Tech, and Middle Tennessee St/Southern Mississippi.
