I decided to include both a side and a total from the UCLA/USC game. I previewed that game with Troy West from AllPlaysWin.com, who always gives us great reads on Pac 12 games, and I agreed with his analysis and decided to include the side he recommended in the game. Key factors there will probably be the return of WR Marquise Lee for USC, a young offensive line for UCLA, and two quarterbacks with good passing accuracy stats.
Then I also included an NCAAF pick on the total in the Iron Bowl, which I covered with Joe Duffy from OffshoreInsiders.com. Joe gave us a pick on both the side and the total in that game this week, and the more I looked into it, the more I agreed with his take on the game, especially with regard to the total.
One side I almost included, but ultimately didn’t, was Arizona getting double digits in their rivalry game at Arizona St. BetDSI had that line at +11 on the odds boards, where other places were still offering 11.5, and I thought about buying up to 13 or 14, but ultimately decided against it. As hard as it might be to believe, this rivalry game might actually be a “sandwich” game of sorts for Arizona St, as they are coming off a huge emotional win over UCLA last week, and then face Stanford for the Pac 12 championship next week.
The last 4 legs my parlay this week involve totals from North Texas/Tulsa, San Diego St/UNLV, Northwestern/Illinois, and Arkansas St/Western Kentucky.
