New Year’s Eve presents bettors with the much-anticipated College Football Playoff semifinals featuring No. 4 Washington vs. No. 1 Alabama in the Peach Bowl, latest reports say that Washington is getting a lot of money as underdogs, but they up for a huge upset?

No. 4 Washington vs. No. 1 Alabama (-13.5)

Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide have a history of racking up the points on equal footing. Check out why the OVER may be your best bet in the 2016 Peach Bowl.

The OVER is 18-4 when Alabama kicks off on neutral soil under head coach Nick Saban; 8-2 in bowl games. The Crimson Tide always rolls out a top-notch defense, but it’s the offense showing consistency in this spot. Alabama averages 35.6 points per game, scoring 30 or more in all but four contests. In nine games favored by double digits, the number jumps to 39.1 points per game.

Washington, meanwhile, was held under 31 points once all season. The Crimson Tide offer the sternest defense its faced this year, but head coach Chris Petersen’s men stood tall  against the Pac-12’s toughest, scoring 44, 31, and 41 against Stanford, Utah, and Colorado respectively. Expect Petersen, the master of trick plays, to have a few wrinkles up his sleeve. The Huskies keep this game competitive. OVER 52.5 is good value with the winner destined to score 30-plus points.
