Well, in sports gambling they say “you can’t lose em’ all,” but last week in my column I in fact did lose them all. Finishing Saturday 0-3 is about as depressing as it gets, but I’m not a quitter. When you get knocked down, you just have to keep getting back up, and I think I have 3 winners for this week.
Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs
Saturday, October 03, 2020 – 07:30 PM EDT at Sanford Stadium
After 1 week of SEC play, it’s impossible to judge these teams perfectly, but I feel pretty safe saying that something looks wrong with UGA’s offense. They took late into the 3rd quarter to score their first touchdown, and that was against Arkansas!
I don’t know everything about these teams, but I know for certain Auburn’s defense is head and shoulders better at every level than that of Arkansas. UGA isn’t even certain who will play QB yet.
Auburn’s young star QB, Bo Nix, is poised for a big sophomore season. And with big-play receivers all over the field for the Tigers, I think the UGA defense will have a tough time slowing them down. I like the Tigers with the points.
Tulsa Golden Hurricanes vs. UCF Knights
Saturday, October 03, 2020 - 07:30 PM EDT at Bounce House
Last week UCF showed they are athletic and have a speed that most teams on their schedule can’t keep up with. Eastern Carolina was able to pull off a backdoor cover late in the game, but that spread was much bigger than this week.
Tulsa has played 1 game in which they were unable to score against Oklahoma State, and the Knights are far more athletic and much faster than the Cowboys. I think UCF will have no issues covering by 3 touchdowns on the best sports betting sites.
Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs
Saturday, October 03, 2020 - 07:30 PM EDT at Davis Wade Stadium
I brought up Arkansas earlier. While I believe Sam Pittman will do good things there, it is a complete rebuild. However, Mississippi St. is nothing close to a rebuild.
Mike Leach is one of the best coaches in college football history. Last week he proved his offense with SEC talent is nearly unstoppable. Arkansas won’t have a chance to stop this machine. This is a clear blowout. Bet the dogs on top sportsbooks and enjoy the show.
