SBR college football handicapping professional Ross Benjamin shares 3 NCAAF picks on Saturday’s card. He recommends betting all 3 games straight, and combining them in a trio of 2-team parlays.

Georgia Tech vs #18 North Carolina 12:30 PM ET

North Carolina had last week off and will be plenty rested. The Tar Heels defeated Virginia 35-14 in their previous game, and covered as a 10.5-point favorite. The North Carolina defense has been outstanding during its last 2 games, allowing just 13.5 points and 308.0 yards per contest. Their offense is explosive, and should torch a less than imposing Georgia Tech defense. North Carolina owns quality road wins this season at Florida State and Miami. They ended a 23-game home win streak for the Seminoles, and knocked off Miami at a time when the Hurricanes were nationally ranked.

Georgia Tech narrowly escaped with a narrow 37-34 home win over Duke last Saturday. The Yellow Jackets failed to cover as a 6.5-point favorite.

Any conference favorite of 10.5 to 21.0 (North Carolina), coming off a SU&ATS win as a favorite by 10.0 or more, versus an opponent (Georgia Tech) coming off a home game in which both teams scored 31 points or more, resulted in those favorites going 24-0 ATS since 1995. This betting angle solidified my decision on one of my college football week 10 predictions.

TCU vs #13 Baylor 3:30 PM ET

At the time of this writing, college football betting odds at Bookmaker has Baylor as an 8.0-point favorite. Bookmaker is presently offering new customers 50% cash bonuses on all initial deposits of up to $300.

TCU is coming off a disappointing 27-24 loss to Texas Tech last Saturday, and did so as a 10.0-point home favorite. The defeat was their 2nd in a row, and dropped the Horned Frogs record to 4-4 (.500). What once seemed like a lock, TCU is in jeopardy of making it to a bowl game. They must win at least 2 of their remaining 4 games against Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas, and Kansas State. That certainly won’t be an easy task, but it may be just what the doctor ordered for a vastly underachieving team.

Baylor is come off their first loss of the season, and for all intents and purposes, eliminated themselves from national championship consideration. Adding salt to the wound was the gut wrenching way in which that defeat transpired. Texas kicked a field goal with less than a minute to play, and came away with a 35-34 against the then #6 ranked Bears. More times than not, when situations like this occurs, it prompts a flat spot for those teams.

Any conference road underdog of 3.5 to 10.0 (TCU), coming off an upset loss as a conference home favorite of 10.0 or more, and has a win percentage of .300 or better, resulted in those underdogs going 27-6 ATS (81.8%) since 1992.

#11 Florida vs Arkansas 3:30 PM ET

Florida will enter this game riding a 3-game win streak, and allowed 14 points or less in each of those contests. The Gators have been one of the best defensive teams in the country all season. They’ve allowed a miniscule 11.7 points and 239.9 yards per game thus far.

Arkansas is coming off a 56-3 shellacking at Auburn in its last game. The Razorbacks are a disappointing 1-3 in SEC action this year. Through the course of those 4 conference games, Arkansas has allowed a massive 45.0 points and 517.3 yards per game.

Any road team (Florida) which has allowed 17 points or less in each of their previous 2 games, versus an opponent (Arkansas) that scored 6 points or less in their last contest, resulted in those road teams going 27-4 SU&ATS since 2007. This betting angle is straightforward, and certainly make a lot of sense. Sometimes we just need to keep it simple.
