On top of the SEC East, the Florida Gators go for their 10th consecutive win over the Razorbacks as road favorites in Arkansas this Saturday afternoon. Here's your exclusive free college football pick.

Season: 17-18-3 (-2.10)

If there's a downside to winning streaks, it's knowing they can't go on forever. The Florida Gators will try to extend theirs one more this week when they travel to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks

CBS begins its broadcast from Fayetteville at 3:30 PM (ET), Florida now a 4½ favorite away from home. 5Dimes has the scoreboard barrier set at 47.

The Gators and Hogs have only played nine times since Arkansas joined the SEC in '92, and Florida has won them all. Two of the meetings came in SEC Championships (1995, 2006), and each of those clashes occurred in seasons the Razorbacks lost their final three games. Arkansas' only win over the Gators was as non-conference foes in the 1982 Bluebonnet Bowl.

This is only the second collision since 2009, the last coming in 2013 when Florida rolled to a 30-10 win in Gainesville. The Gators covered as 12½ point home chalk on the NCAA football odds, the final pushing a 40 point total. Florida would then lose its final seven games of the year after rising to No. 17 following the win over the Razorbacks.

Gators Control Own Destiny To SEC Championship

Sitting pretty atop the SEC East standings, Florida (6-1 straight up, 3-4 against the spread) came out in the 11-hole of the CFP Rankings released earlier this week. The Gators even hold the tiebreaker to reach the SEC Championship if they suffer one conference loss the rest of the way, neither of which should come the next two weeks with Arkansas on Saturday and home against South Carolina next week.

Jim McElwain's group still has that makeup game with LSU in a couple of weeks, the contest shifted to Baton Rouge instead of in their own backyard at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium as originally scheduled.

After beginning the year 1-4 at the window, the Gators covered their last two at home as favorites against Missouri and Georgia. They are expected to have tailback Mark Thompson on the field after he served a 2-game suspension, adding a little depth to the backfield, but may be without tight end DeAndre Goolsby (hand) and middle linebacker Jarrad Davis (ankle), both currently listed as questionable.

Allen Should Be Under Center For Hogs

There's good news for Bret Bielema and Arkansas (5-3 SU, 3-5 ATS) with starting QB Austin Allen expected to play this week. Allen injured his right knee in the lopsided loss at Auburn two weeks ago, and thanks to having last Saturday off, the junior was good enough to return to practice a few days ago.

Not that Allen's presence running the offense can do anything to help one of the worst run defenses in the conference. The Razorbacks have allowed over 220 yards per game on the ground, and 24 rushing touchdowns so far, more than twice the yardage Florida's defense is giving up with only five running scores against the Gators.

A few clouds and temps in the upper-60s, low-70s are being called for in the forecast, with just a light easterly breeze. The sports books are also calling for a light amount of offense with this total, one of the lowest on the board for Power 5 conference games. I'm just counting on the Razorbacks to generate enough offense with my free college football pick.
