Even though both teams have yet to lose a game this season, there's a lot of pressure on both squads as this game has a lot more importance than a win or staying unbeaten. See who we think will come out on top as our college football pick.

Kickoff is set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST. According to most Sportsbook, Air Force is a 7 1/2 point betting favorite and the total is listed at 47 (-110).

What You See Is What You Get

Navy has always had a ton of success throughout the last few decades and it all starts with their ability to run the option play and find the open receiver on 3rd down situations. Thus far this season, the option has worked well for the Midshipmen as senior quarterback, Will Worth hasn't committed any turnovers and that's half of the battle.

 Ground Gainers

For the season, Worth has attempted just 23 passes but has 1 TD passing to go along with 267 yards passing. He's also been a threat on the ground with 179 yards and 4 TD's rushing. Worth had his biggest game of the season last week with a 113-yard rushing performance (and 1 touchdown) in a 21-14 victory over Tulane. Worth will also have leading rusher, Chris High, at his disposal as High has 263 yards and 4 TD's rushing at 10.1 yards per carry. That said, High's production has taken a dramatic drop in Navy's last 2 games after a 176-yard performance in the season opener against Fordham. Look for both Worth and High to be factors in this game as the level of competition has gone up a notch and Navy is the underdog coming into this much-anticipated matchup.

 Inaccuracy At It's Best

Air Force starting quarterback, senior Nate Romine, has been the definition of the word inaccurate as he completed less than 50% of his passes in each of his last 3 seasons. He's averaging a pathetic 40.6 % completion percentage this season, but with that said Romine, isn't a quarterback that will get picked off. To his credit, he has 3 TD's passing and 0 interceptions this season. Just like Navy, most of Air Force's production has come with their ground game. Just like Will Worth, Nate Romine also has a 100-yard rushing game to his credit this season while 5 other rushers have 100 yards or more this season.

The one advantage that Air Force has over Navy is the depth in their running game. Wide receiver, Jalen Robinette (6 receptions 122 yards, 1 TD) is the only member of the Falcons to have more than 3 receptions, therefore this a very predictable offense.

 Jacobi Owens

Running back, D.J. Johnson has been the workhorse in the backfield, but Jacobi Owens is the player to watch. Owens is coming off of 2 consecutive 1000 yard rushing seasons and leads the Falcons with 203 yards and 2 TD's on an incredible 8.8 yards per carry. For Air Force to be successful, Owens must get more touches as this will be a game in which the team with the better ground game and defense, will come out on top.

I like Navy in this game as these two teams are mirror images of each other. This game is about who will win and get the 7.5 points is an added bonus for the bettor that bet the Midshipmen. That is you free college football pick.
