Michigan State is stacking up big wins on its way to a playoff run in the BIG 10. Here is the odds preview and our free college football pick on this highly anticipated Saturday game.

Air Force vs. Michigan State  12:00 EST.
Michigan State comes into Saturdays game with the biggest chip off there shoulders in a long time. They are 26 point favorites and the total rest at 55.

Air Force Recap
Air Force busted open a tight 17-16 game – SJSU leading – with an interception leading to 20 unanswered points. D.J. Johnson ran for touchdown runs from 13, one and 34 yards out, all in the fourth quarter.  2. Garrett Brown started out the scoring for the Falcons with a 63-yard run, and Nate Romine ran for a one-yard score in the second.  3. San Jose State got a 17-yard touchdown catch from Tyler Ervin along with a 66-yard dash on the way to the 17-16 lead. But the defense couldn’t stop the Falcons in the fourth quarter. – Nate Romine ran 19 times for 116 yards and a score, and completed 3-of-11 passes for 24 yards and a touchdown.  D.J. Johnson ran 21 times for 103 yards and three scores. Air Force ran for 428 yards averaging over six yards per carry.

Spartans Title Hunt Watch
Michigan State was able to hang on late as Oregon was driving down three, but gave the ball up on downs on a misfired pass. The Ducks came up with a two-yard Vernon Adams touchdown run and a 15-yard scoring pass to Byron Marshall in the fourth, but MSU had a late lead helped by second half scores from L.J. Scott from six and 38 yards out on the way to a 31-21 lead. The Spartans would need it.
Oregon scored first on a two-yard Royce Freeman touchdown run, but the offense struggled. The Ducks  opened the second half with an 81-yard Bralon Addison punt return for a score to tie it at 14, but MSU controlled most of the second half. The Spartans got two Connor Cook touchdown passes in the first half with a 12-yarder to Josiah Price to tie it at seven and a 17-yarder to Aaron Burbridge.  – Connor Cook completed 20-of-32 passes for 192 yards and two scores with a pick.  Madre London ran 18 times for 103 yards. L.J. Scott ran 11 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns.  Rushing yards: 198. Passing yards: 192.  Michigan State might be 2-0, and it might have a great win over Oregon, but it hardly looked dominant in the opener against Western Michigan – who got blasted a week later by Georgia Southern – and it needed to hang on against the Ducks. It doesn’t matter as long as the wins keep on coming, and it shouldn’t be too tough to get through Central Michigan, Purdue and Rutgers over the coming weeks if the team keeps its head on straight.

But first, it has to be able to hit the Air Force curve ball.  Air Force has been Air Force, running wild so far averaging 411 yards per game and coming off a vital Mountain West-opening win over San Jose State. This is the first of a slew of compelling games, going to Navy next week and with a road date at Colorado State coming up, and while beating Michigan State would be big, it wouldn’t matter as much as last week’s win over the other Spartans.

Major Line Move Alert
The College Football Odds total of the game went from 60.5 to 55.5.
We expect this game to fall over the posted total and to be a one sided affair.  Msu all day here.
