All the major college football moves of the past 24 hours. Catch all the moves off the opening line on the college football odds board.
113 Texas Tech/114 Texas- The public has been on Texas Tech from the start. Sharp money had been on Texas, but nothing major. Now enough public money is outweighing the sharp money on Tech. Also some sharp money has shown on Tech, though it might just be guys getting off their bets or getting ahead of the move.
117 Iowa/118 Nebraska- Sharp money today for Nebraska +1.5. The public is heavily on Iowa, but the wiseguys were lining up to play on Nebraska. Now that QB Tommy Armstrong will officially not be charged due to an incident that occurred at his house over the past weekend the wiseguys have stepped in on the Cornhuskers.
133 Navy/134 Houston- Unfortunately nothing to report here as bookmakers have not posted this line yet due to the questionable availability of Houston quarterback Greg Ward. The winner here could find itself in a New Year’s Day bowl game.
135 Tulsa/136 Tulane- Lots of money, public and sharp on Tulsa. They were sitting at -6 with some -6.5, but now up to -7 in most spots. Tulsa need this game to become bowl eligible.
137 Washington State/138 Washington- No line here because of the doubtful status of Wash State QB Luke Falk. Falk has been having a terrific year but hurt himself in Wash State’s last game.
143 Baylor/144 TCU- Most places still have this off, though we know the Baylor QB will likely be Chris Johnson, who played admirably in their win over Okla State last week, but is a freshman who has mostly practiced with the wide receivers all season. Jarrett Stidham, who replaced Seth Russell, is out with a broken ankle.
151 Penn State/152 Michigan State- Mich State QB Connor Cook will be a game time decision, but bookmakers put this up anyway. Mich State -11.
185 Maryland/186 Rutgers- Switch of favorites now with Maryland going from -1 to Rutgers -1 on the college football odds board. Rutgers star receiver Leonte Carroo has gone from questionable to probable this week. Carroo has been a huge difference maker for Rutgers this season when he has been healthy, which hasn’t been all that often.
187 Florida State/188 Florida- More Florida State money showing. FSU goes from -2 to -2.5. Florida is loaded with injuries. The Gators are already in the SEC championship game regardless of this outcome. Still, Florida has its sites set high for a possible run at the national championship if they can win this game and unseat Alabama (most likely) in the SEC championship game.
197 Alabama/198 Auburn- Lots of money for Bama, public and sharp pushes them from -13.5 to -14 and -14.5.
