Kentucky vs. Ole Miss Odds Analysis

Kentucky vs. Ole Miss Picks

Kentucky vs. Ole Miss ATS Pick

Kentucky +6.5 (-107) ★★★

One thing being overlooked ahead of this game is that the Wildcats get star running back Chris Rodriguez back after his four-game suspension. Kentucky has rushed for just 81.5 yards per game, but last season, Rodriguez went for 1,379 yards on the ground and had 12 total touchdowns.

The Rebels’ offense is averaging 41 points per game, but they haven’t faced much competition to this point. Additionally, they scored 35 in the first half last week, then scored nothing after the interval. That type of inconsistency won’t work against the Wildcats.

The last two matchups between these teams have been decided by a combined four points. Therefore, take the underdog and the points, and don’t be surprised if a battle-tested Kentucky wins this game.

Kentucky vs. Ole Miss O/U Pick

Under 54.5 (-105) ★★★★

These two teams have put up points this year, but they have done so against mostly mediocre competition. With Rodriguez back, the Wildcats will want to control the pace of this game, and keep it low-scoring.

The Rebels are the home team, and their style is definitely to score at will. However, they have not faced a defense like Kentucky’s yet, and that is going to cause problems for them. Remember, the week after Anthony Richardson looked like a potential Heisman winner, Kentucky’s defense completely shut him down and held Florida to 16 points.

Kentucky vs. Ole Miss Prop

First half Under 27.5 (-108) ★★★

The Rebels have exploded out of the gates in all of their games this season. Against Troy they scored 21, then they followed it up with first-half totals of 31, 21, and 35.

The Wildcats have allowed 40 first-half points in their four games this year. This sets up a strength vs. strength battle in the first half of this one.

However, the Wildcats haven’t been great offensively early in games. They have two scoreless first quarters in four outings, and they've scored more than 20 just once in a first half.

This should be a close game throughout, but even if both teams score, there will be more field goals than these they are used to. A 14-13 or 13-13 halftime score gets the Under.
