Offshore sportsbook BetDSI released odds for four hypothetical NCAA football conference championship games with a spread for two scenarios in the ACC along with potential title matchups in the Big Ten and SEC conferences.
With the 2017 College Football season hitting its homestretch, Offshore sportsbook BetDSI posted odds on Monday for potential Conference Championship matchups in three of the Power Five conferences, the ACC, SEC and Big Ten. After Ohio State’s (7-1 SU, 5-0 Big Ten) dramatic come-from-behind win against Penn State (7-1 SU, 4-1 Big Ten) at The Horseshoe in Week 9, the picture for a potential Big Ten Championship Game matchup became a little clearer with the Nittany Lions suffering their first Loss and Wisconsin (8-0 SU, 5-0 Big Ten) two games up in the Big Ten West Division and still a team in the CFP conversation.
In Week 10 College Football action, Ohio State is at Iowa (OSU -16½, 51½, 5Dimes), Penn State travels to East Lansing to battle #24 Michigan State in a tough test for Heisman Trophy candidate Saquon Barkley and the the Nittany Lions (PSU -7½, 48, BookMaker), while Wisconsin heads to Bloomington, Indiana to face the Hoosiers in what could be a tougher game for the Badgers than most think (WIS -10½, 49½, BetOnline; WIS). Indiana is currently priced +335 on the Moneyline at both Heritage and 5Dimes (WIS -420).
Hypothetical ACC Championship Games
Clemson -7 Miami Florida
Clemson -4½ Virginia Tech
Hypothetical Big Ten Championship Game
Ohio State -9½ Wisconsin
Hypothetical SEC Championship Game
Alabama -6 Georgia
Alabama (8-0 SU, 5-0 SEC) and Georgia (8-0 SU, 5-0 in SEC) look like they could be on a collision course and could possibly meet in a dramatic and physical SEC Conference Championship game to be held at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Dec. 2 (CBS). Jalen Hurts, Bo Scarbrough and the Crimson Tide welcome #19 LSU to Tuscaloosa on Saturday for an SEC showdown more anticipated in past seasons and a game which now sees Alabama as big 21-point Favorites (Bovada). Nick Chubb and Georgia welcome South Carolina between the hedges on Saturday in another matchup which might have been closer in past seasons with the Bulldogs as huge 24-point chalks (-115, Intertops).
Auburn (11/26) may be the toughest team left on the Alabama schedule, while Georgia will face those same pesky Tigers next weekend in Week 11 at Auburn, and the Dawgs also have a tough intrastate rivalry game with ATS darling Georgia Tech in the Regular Season finale, albeit a non-Conference meeting at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Should Georgia stay unbeaten by defeating Auburn, Kentucky (11/18) and the Yellow Jackets and then lose to Alabama in a theoretical SEC Championship Game, The College Football Powers That Be would have to still give credence to Georgia making the CFP Playoffs through schedule strength and their 1-point win over Brandon Wimbush, Josh Adams and a really, really good Notre Dame team.
The Big Ten Championship game will also be held on Dec. 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (FOX) and it looks pretty good that Wisconsin and Ohio State will likely be in that game. And the ACC Championship Game is also scheduled for Dec. 2 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, but the potential teams are still up in the air in that scrappy conference with defending national champions Clemson 4-1 in the ACC Atlantic Division and NC State an unbeaten 4-0 in the conference, and Miami Florida (5-0 in ACC), Virginia Tech (3-1 in ACC) and Georgia Tech (3-2 in ACC) still all fighting it out in the Coastal Division, with the latter needing a mini-miracle.Free NCAAF Pick: Ohio State -9.5 Over WisconsinBest Line Offered: BetDSI
