Michigan State vs. Western Michigan
D'Anotino opens his campaign in hostile territory with sharps doubting his squad.

Michigan State getting disrespected by sharps in Vegas. We don't buy into that and look for the sharps to lose this game and Sparta to roll over the Broncos.  MSU has now moved down to a 16.5 point chalk with the total holding firm at 56.

The MSU Spartans from the Big10 are lead by Mark D'Antonio and are coming off a 11-2 season and upset bowl win over Baylor in the cotton bowl.  However, it seems the sharps in Vegas are expecting a dissension this season for Antiono's Spartans.  The line opened at Msu-23.5 and has dropped all the way to 16.5 according to SBR's college football odds board.
The sharps nailed down the Fiu game last night scoring and outright victory after a 5 point point move down on that underdog.  Let's not be fooled, the sharps aren't going to clean up all year.  The disrespect for the MSU Spartans is unwarranted and we plan on exploiting this line drop opportunity on the Spartans.

Let's look at D'Antonio's squad on the field this year, before we get to the Broncos of Western Michigan.  D' Antonio is 75-31 at MSU and they are 11-2 all time against WMU.  Now the last time they played against WMU, the Broncos we're able to cover the number.  We are thinking this time around led by a thoroughbred at QB in Connor Cook that the Spartans will make it really difficult on the Broncos. Connor returns having thrown for 3,214 yards and 24TDS/INTS.  We will gladly take these stats in the Spartans favor having played tougher competition than the MAC Broncos.  Having a senior offensive line can only help Connor Cook with time to throw the ball down the field.  Expect the Msu offense to shine with him under center.  The Msu defense, besides losing the top 2 tacklers has a stacked group of returning starters and letterman.  Look for this group to be able to push around WMU up front in the trenches.

Western Michigan coming off its best year since 2011.  A bowl appearance and a 8-5 record to boot might bode well for the Broncos on paper.  Pj Fleck had struggled mightily as a coach, until last years progress. The QB Zach Terrel has gaudy numbers from last season.  He threw for 3,443 yards and had 26 TDS/10INTS.  If you examine the Broncos closely though, you can clearly see MSU SOS is no where near the caliber of teams MSU has faced.  Wmu also deserves praise for returning a hoss at tailback. Jarvion Franklin had 1,551 yards rushing and 24 TDS! The problem that arises for him tonight will come against an extremely tough front defensive line for MSU. We will also allow praise for the wideout core for the Broncos. Corey Davis is coming back with 1,408 yards receiving and 15 TDS!  All signs point to a juicy underdog returning all its stars in a home opener. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS FOLKS!!!!

Sparta will keep the hometown crowd in check and take care of business. They are the better team here and a plain and simple college football pick with a huge size differential.
