The Grove - in Oxford, Mississippi is known as one of the premier tailgating spots in all of college football. For those betting on Ole Miss football, it has also been a place to drown your sorrows.

Mississippi had 20+ points leads on two Top 5 teams this season, Florida State and Alabama. To put that into perspective, of the other 127 teams playing FBS football, only two squads in the sport had leads that large and failed to win. (#Ouch)

Thus, when making week 4 college football picks, will the Rebels feel sorry for themselves or take out their frustrations on Georgia?

This ESPN encounter has a 12:00 Eastern time start and I'll look to improve on 14-9-1 ATS record.

Ole Miss Has to Score and Slow the Run
Quarterback Chad Kelly is the best thrower in the SEC and he has big targets to throw to who are skilled in hauling down passes. Kelly is in charge of pass offense which is 14th in the country at 325.3 yards per game and they will have to aggressively attack Georgia.

Coach Hugh Freeze also needs more out of the running game to keep the chains moving and to keep the defense off the field. The Rebels defense is 13th in the SEC against the run, permitting 243 YPG. When betting college football, if you take a position on the team that cannot stop the run, your wagering account will dry up. Ole Miss (1-2 SU & ATS) has to start filling more gaps if they expect to defeat Georgia.

Is Georgia Really 3-0 Team or Just Lucky?
Georgia used a big fourth quarter to defeat North Carolina, gave almost no effort in 26-24 win over Nicholls as 53-point favorites and required last minute touchdown to survive in Columbia against Missouri 28-27.

On the bright side, Kirby Smart's Bulldogs (3-0, 1-2 ATS) are showing a proclivity for coming up big at crunch time, but there are concerns. The Georgia running game is their bread and butter and after hanging 289 yards on the Tar Heels, only 268 since. The offensive line is not firing off the ball and RB Nick Chubb lacks holes to run through.

Freshman quarterback Jacob Eason is a keeper, however, the Dawgs pass defense was lit for 376 yards by Missouri and Kelly and the company has a lot more talent than Mizzou when it comes to tossing the pigskin.

What To Watch For and Outcome
The college football odds at JustBet (great sportsbook) have Mississippi at -7 with total of 61. Though Georgia has won 10 in a row in this series (7-3 ATS), the Rebels will be on the rampage and win by 12.
