There are two interesting games on the college football odds board for Friday night. Let's break down each matchup and come up with a play.

South Florida Bulls vs. Cincinnati Bearcats
The visiting Bearcats are favored by a field goal for tonight's road game against South Florida. Some sites have a line of two available, but if you act fast you can find Cincinnati available at -2 at 5Dimes on the college football odds board, that is if you think they're the best play in this matchup.

We're thinking the Bulls may be the right side, however, and we're going to look over their recent performances and overall body of work to help the case. South Florida was rough to start the season, but they've been great over the last couple of months. Along the way the Bulls have beaten some good football programs, but the standout was their last time out in a 44-23 home victory over a ranked Temple team.

After that kind of win, we can expect a confident South Florida group, a group that will like their chances of securing another victory, irrespective of being the underdog. Cincinnati is also at 6-4 on the year, but have been much more inconsistent from week to week. This is a potent offensive attack that the Bearcats bring to the table; they're fourth in the country in passing yards per game, and it's Gunner Kiel that's been providing a lot of the production. He's thrown for over 2,400 yards and 18 touchdowns already, with Shaq Washington being his preferred target.

We just don't think the Bearcats will be able to make enough plays to top a South Florida team that's been playing as well as it has all season, especially since they'll be on the road. So, we'll add the Bulls to our picks for the day.

Boise State Broncos vs. Air Force Falcons
The night cap will pit Boise State up against Air Force, with current lines having the Broncos favored by 11 points across the board. They're the strong favorites in this one.

Though Boise State has the inferior conference record, oddsmakers are confident in the team's chances of beating the Falcons with relative ease this evening. The Broncos are sitting at 7-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play, and they'll be itching to right the ship after losing to New Mexico last week. It was a disappointing showing from Boise State in all phases in the rare home loss for the team.

As for Air Force, they continue to get it done week after week. The Falcons have now won four consecutive games and three of those wins were in blowout fashion. They're running the ball down their opponents throats every week and it's working wonders; they're currently third in the entire nation in averaging rushing yards per game (a staggering 332.8) and they'll be hoping they can establish that foundation again against Boise State.

And, after looking closely, we believe the Falcons have a good chance to stay within what we see as an inflated number. Air Force may not be a well-known team at this juncture, but they're playing great football and will be eager to keep that going on the national stage in this spot.

We think some may not be aware of how competitive the Falcons have been, and believe there's a good chance they'll be able to stay close enough to earn the cover for their backers. It's a little too many points for our liking, as we just don't have that much confidence in Boise State; as a result, we'll be backing the underdogs as the college football pick on Friday night.
