Joe Gavazzi has selected Missouri as his 'Crusher of the week' as he believes they will blow Mid Tennessee St away. Read on for his exclusive College Football Pick and analysis to get the details.

Mid Tennessee State at Missouri (-6) 4:00 PM ET

Each week, I look to isolate a CFB Crusher of the Week. It is a game in which a combination of statistical, situational and technical factors all converge to give us an outstanding opportunity for our team to blow out the opposition. This week, it comes with the Missouri Tigers in their non-conference battle as host to Mid Tenn State. I believe that when you read the analysis below, you will be eager to join me for the winner.

Mid Tenn State has their sites set on the CUSA crown. Last week’s overtime home loss to Western Kentucky in which 87 points were scored may leave them a bit drained. Yet they still realize their conference goals are within site. To close the year, they face FIU, UTSA, Marshall, Charlotte and Florida Atlantic. They will be favored against all these opponents with a good chance to go 7-1 SU in league play. That means today’s mission is to STAY HEALTHY, COLLECT A PAY CHECK AND GET BACK TO TENNESSEE. The Blue Raiders face one other SEC team this season. That was on the road at low scoring Vanderbilt where they allowed 47 points!  A long-term record of 4-10 ATS as road dog further solidifies the play against position.

Their host today is a Missouri Tiger team who enters this contest at 2-4 SU for 1st year HC Odom. Odom is the former DC who has taken the reins for long term HC Gary Pinkel who retired in 2015 due to health considerations. A major change has been the addition of OC Josh Heupel to open up the offense. On the surface, the 2-4 SU record looks as if it might be a duplication of last year’s 5-7 SU season. A closer inspection sees that the 3 Tiger losses have been at West Virginia, at LSU and at Florida.  When playing at home, the Tigers are 2-1 SU (1 point loss to Georgia) and 3-0 ATS in the role of home favorite Missouri has covered twice by 43 points, including victories by a combined 140-21 to outmanned teams E Mich and Delaware State. In those two games, they racked up 1,366 yards. With winnable SEC games against Kentucky, South Carolina and Vanderbilt on the docket in the next 3 weeks, this game is an absolute must for the Tigers to achieve the bowl requisite 6 victories. I urge you to lay the points in a battle of teams who may well have very different agendas on Saturday resulting in the Crusher of the Week.

I invite you to put the College Football ODDS in your favor and join me in my College Football PICKS on Missouri.
