Although it hasn't got that much attention from betting experts, tonight's game between the Wyoming Cowboys & Eastern Michigan Eagles has some value. Read for our college football pick inside.

Wyoming (-3) at E. Michigan 7:30 ET
Wyoming travels to E. Michigan for this 7:30 ET kick as televised by CBC TV.  Last year, E. Michigan traveled to Wyoming on September 12th, where they defeated the Cowboys (48-29) FOR THEIR ONLY WIN OF THE SEASON!  That was at a time when Wyoming was at the nadir of their discontent.  The Cowboys struggled to a 2-10 SU season with just 10 RS in the 2nd year under HC Craig Bohl, the former highly-successful headman at N. Dakota St. (you remember the Bison…they just beat Iowa last week).  It was a rare, road win for E. Michigan who entering this season was just 3-29 SU on the road the previous 3 years.  In fact, as the Eagles entered 2016, under 3rd-year mentor Chris Creighton, they were just 7-41 SU the previous 4 years.  In short, this is one of the worst teams in college football.  A major problem has been on the defensive side of the ball, where in the last 2 seasons, the Eagles have allowed 42 PPG and 510 YPG.  Again this season, Eastern is ticketed for the bottom of the MAC West standings.

To those unfamiliar with the Eagles, one may believe they are turning it around with a 2-1 SU ATS record for the YTD.  But, those victories have been against Mississippi Valley St., against whom they were a 44 point favorite (imagine how bad Miss Valley St. must be) and against Charlotte last week in a game where Eastern was outrushed 157-74 but profited from a (+2) net TO margin.  In between, against a Missouri team who is hardly known as an offensive machine, they allowed the Tigers 61 points and 647 yards.   Tonight, they return home to Rynearson Field, where they are 13-30 ATS L8Y, knowing they are just 1-14 ATS following a non-conference victory.  The chances of Eastern beating Wyoming in consecutive years, considering their 2-week role change from road chalk to the home dog, are highly remote.

Wyoming was struggling when they hosted E. Michigan last year.  This year is a far different story.  With 17 RS, 50 lettermen, and 20 seniors, this could be one of the biggest turnaround teams of the season. I note the success that 3rd year HC Bohl had at his former affiliation (N. Dakota St.), where they won multiple FCS Championships. This year, Wyoming has already beaten N. Illinois (the 6-time division champ of the MAC West where this E. Michigan team resides) and last week, Cal Davis, whom they outrushed 274-75.  In between, it looks like a blowout at Nebraska, but they trailed the Huskers only 24-17 entering the 4th when 4 TOs by the Cowboys led to a 28 point 4th quarter for Nebraska. The Cowboys are a far better team than last year. Their biggest challenge tonight may be finding Ypsilanti, Michigan.  But once they do, the offensive combination of QB Allen and RB Hill will be way too much for the porous Eastern defense to contain.

In this under the radar, hidden gem, I invite you to put the College Football ODDS in your favor and join me in my College Football PICK on this Friday Night Delight on Wyoming.
