There are only two games on the NCAAF slate Tuesday night, both from the MAC, but two golden opportunities to cash with a pair of college football picks to start the week out right!

Bowling Green (1-7 SU, 1-7 ATS) at Kent State (2-6, 3-5 ATS)

When you think big-time college football, this matchup would never come to mind. We have two cellar-dwelling MAC teams battling it out on Halloween with little more than pride on the line. Bowling Green is essentially done, winning just one of eight games and covering the college football odds in that lone victory, which was a 37-29 stunner over Miami Ohio, while Kent State is hanging by a thread with two victories on the season.

The difference between these two teams, aside from the fact that the Golden Flashes have one more win on their ledger, is that the Falcons have an offense while Kent State does not. Bowling Green averages 20.5 points per game vs. a mere 11.4 PPG produced by Kent State. The Falcons are also far more prolific in the passing game with 223.4 aerial yards per game compared to only 101 YPG for the Flashes. Both running games produce about the same (150 yards per game), but it will be the passing attack of Bowling Green that will win the day in this one. In addition, Jarrett Doege, who has been out with an injury, may be available at quarterback for Bowling Green and is the best choice in the musical chairs at quarterback that the Falcons have been relegated to this season. Back the visitors in your college football picks on Tuesday night.

Free NCAAF Pick: Bowling Green -3

Best Line Offered: BetOnline

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3187987, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,93,169,1275,19], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]

Miami Ohio (3-5 SU, 2-6 ATS) at Ohio U (6-2 SU, 6-2 ATS)

After three consecutive losses, Miami of Ohio finally notched a W with a 24-14 victory over lightly regarded Buffalo and covered the three-point impost. Conversely, Ohio U has won five of its last six, including last week’s 48-3 destruction of Kent State. The Bobcats have won and covered their last two meetings against the RedHawks and this one will prove no different. Ohio University is 5-1 ATS over their last six contests overall and 4-1 ATS over their last five home games.

Miami of Ohio also has to contend with the uncertain status of QB Gus Ragland, who has been sidelined with a leg injury. Regardless of whom the RedHawks employ under center, it won’t be enough to keep pace with a Bobcats’ offense that ranks 9th in the nation averaging over 40 points per game. Don’t over think this one – just bet it. Ohio U gets the win and the cover here.

Free NCAAF Pick: Ohio U -9

Best Line Offered: Bookmaker

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3188040, "sportsbooksIds":[93,169,123,92,1602], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]
