There are a lot of games to sift through on a busy Friday night. We've found one matchup that appears to hold good NBA betting odds value, however.

Odds Overview
The biggest favorites on the board for Friday night are the Memphis Grizzlies, who will be at home against the tanking Los Angeles Lakers. Current NBA betting odds show the Grizzlies laying 11.5 points on their own court.

A relatively low total of 193.5 suggests we won't be seeing too high of a tempo in this Western Conference battle.

Memphis Grizzlies
Inconsistency has been somewhat of an issue for the Grizzlies, as they've alternated losses and wins over their last four games ahead of tonight. They beat both Minnesota and Houston on the road but fell to the Clippers and Jazz at home, interestingly enough.

For a team that's been so dominant at home this season, it was bizarre to see the Grizzlies lose to a shorthanded Los Angeles team and then drop another game against a very young Utah squad. However, Memphis bounced back in a big way by topping James Harden's Rockets 102-100 on the road. Five different Grizzlies reached double digits in scoring, with the team being led by Marc Gasol, who had 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the win. Zach Randolph had a nice game too, recording 15 points, eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block.

It's been a common theme all season. Randolph and Gasol have been dynamite together and they'll be the heart and soul for the Grizzlies in what should be another deep playoff run. Heading into Friday, Memphis holds the second seed in the Western Conference with a stellar 43-17 record, and they'll be itching to make it up to their fans with a home win this evening.

Click Here for Another Capper's Take on the Lakers/Grizzlies Matchup

Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers will take a three-game losing streak into tonight's contest. They've suffered setbacks against the Thunder, Hornets and Heat, with two of those losses coming on the road. They'll close out their road trip tonight before heading back home for four consecutive home games.

The good news for Los Angeles fans is the team has at least been competitive in each three of those losses, as they haven't lost by more than seven points in any of them. They're 16-44 overall, having gone 9-20 at home and 7-24 on the road. Ahead of tonight, they've gone 3-7 over their last 10 games.

We've said it numerous times before, but the Lakers are a mighty hard team to trust when making your final NBA picks each and every time they take the court. In our estimation, it's pretty easy to fade a team that has no issues with losing, especially when coming up against a Memphis squad that's in the midst of a heated playoff race.

NBA Pick
Yes, this is the highest spread of the entire slate, yet we still think there's value here on the Grizzlies.

Now that Randolph is back and at full strength, Memphis should be able to get back on track and keep piling up the wins. The Grizzlies have continued their defensive dominance, ranking first in the NBA in fewest points allowed per game, and we've seen the Lakers be a total doormat this year. These two teams couldn't be more different.

With Memphis in second in the West and Los Angeles in second-to last, the gulf in talent and motivation should be huge. We don't expect the Grizzlies to have much trouble at all outplaying the Lakers from the start and feel confident that they'll win by at least 12 points at home.
