The early odds and lines are out for Week 14 of the college football season, and we make our top picks for the biggest games.

Week 14 in college football is also known as Conference Championship week. Several teams are looking to cement their spots in the College Football Playoff, while others are looking to earn bids to major bowl games.

With the craziness of this college football season, we have a plethora of surprise teams in their respective conference championships, many of which are looking for their first-ever title. That aspect should add to the excitement of what is already one of the most thrilling weeks of the season.

Here’s a look at the early Week 14 college football odds for Top-25 teams, along with my picks based on the opening lines (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale):

Early College Football Odds, Lines and Picks for Week 14

Western Kentucky (8-4 SU, 9-3 ATS, 8-4 O/U) vs. No. 22 UTSA (11-1 SU, 8-4 ATS, 6-6 O/U)

Opening line: UTSA -2.5Opening total: 72

UTSA beat Western Kentucky 52-46 in the regular season, but the Roadrunners were exposed in their regular-season finale against North Texas. The Hilltoppers will not be intimidated in their rematch.

Pick: Western Kentucky +2.5 (???)

No. 11 Oregon (10-2 SU, 5-7 ATS, 6-6 O/U) vs. No. 19 Utah (9-3 SU, 5-7 ATS, 8-4 O/U)

Opening line: Utah -3Opening total: 60

Utah dominated Oregon in the trenches two weeks ago and will do so again en route to their first Pac-12 championship, though this rematch will be much closer than their 38-7 win in the first matchup.

Pick: Utah -3 (???)

No. 8 Baylor (10-2 SU, 8-4 ATS, 6-6 O/U) vs. No. 7 Oklahoma State (11-1 SU, 9-2-1 ATS, 4-7-1 O/U)

Opening line: Oklahoma State -6.5Opening total: 49.5

This is a great buy-low spot on Baylor coming off a nail-biter against an inferior Texas Tech team, while Oklahoma State is riding high off their “Bedlam” win over the Sooners.

Pick: Baylor +6.5 (????)

Utah State (9-3 SU, 8-4 ATS, 5-7 O/U) vs. No. 21 San Diego State (11-1 SU, 6-5-1 ATS, 5-7 O/U)

Opening line: San Diego State -3.5Opening total: 50.5

Five of San Diego State’s last six wins have been one-possession games, and that finally catches up with the Aztecs this week against the Aggies.

Pick: Utah State +3.5 (?)

No. 1 Georgia (12-0 SU, 8-4 ATS, 5-7 O/U) vs. No. 3 Alabama (11-1 SU, 6-6 ATS, 6-6 O/U)

Opening line: Georgia -4Opening total: 51.5

Head coach Kirby Smart will be highly motivated to secure his first career win over protege Nick Saban. Bulldogs players will also be highly motivated to knock off Alabama after several close losses to them in the past, and to assure themselves that they will not have to face them in the College Football Playoff.

Pick: Georgia -4 (???)

No. 24 Houston (11-1 SU, 7-5 ATS, 7-5 O/U) vs. No. 4 Cincinnati (12-0 SU, 7-5 ATS, 5-7 O/U)

Opening line: Cincinnati -10.5Opening total: 55

The Bearcats are close to making history as the first Group of Five team to make the College Football Playoff, but that is a lot of weight to carry on their shoulders, and Houston will make this game close as a result.

Pick: Houston +10.5 (?)

No. 5 Michigan (11-1 SU, 10-2 ATS, 6-6 O/U) vs. No. 16 Iowa (10-2 SU, 7-5 ATS, 5-7 O/U)

Opening line: Michigan -10.5Opening total: 43.5

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines players got the monkey off their back ending the long winless streak against Ohio State. They are not about to let the opportunity of their first Big Ten Championship Game appearance go to waste against an inferior Iowa team.

Pick: Michigan -10.5 (??)

No. 17 Pittsburgh (10-2 SU, 9-3 ATS, 8-4 O/U) vs. No. 18 Wake Forest (10-2 SU, 6-6 ATS, 6-6 O/U)

Opening line: Wake Forest -2Opening total: 71.5

In a matchup of two of the best quarterbacks in the country in Pitt’s Kenny Pickett and Wake Forest’s Sam Hartman, this game will come down to which defense can make the most plays. We trust the Panthers more.

Pick: Pittsburgh +2 (???)
