Every bettor needs to be a bit of a meteorologist because cold temperatures mixed with snow can cause low scoring games and the pigskin to bounce in unusual ways. Let's see which games could experience inclement weather and affect our college football picks.

12:00 PM ET Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State

There is no chance of a November snow in Ames, Iowa today with a temperature of 42 degrees and a south wind blowing 9-14 miles per hour. However, there is a 30 percent chance of rain and that could slow things down a bit if the drizzle begins earlier rather than later. The college football odds makers opened this total at 61 ½ and it has dropped only a hook in most offshore shops but BetOnline appears to be heeding the possibility of a wet track and is now dealing this over/under at 60 ½. It should be dry weather for this Big-12 matchup but keep your eyes on the weather reports.

12:00 PM ET Nebraska vs. Minnesota

This Big Ten battle will be held in Minneapolis where it gets bitter cold during the winter. But today won't be one of those days as the forecast calls for 41 degree temperatures but cloudy skies and a 30 percent chance of showers. There will be a wind blowing from the south at 5-10 miles per hour so that shouldn't cause any field goal kicks to go wayward. However, if the rain does come then beware of this total, now at 47 ½ in most major online sportsbooks, to fall just a bit.

3:30 PM ET Iowa vs. Wisconsin

The skies will be overcast in Madison, Wisconsin as the Badgers and Hawkeyes get ready to roll on the gridiron. A south wind will travel 9-14 miles per hour while the skies will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain. This total has dropped a full two points from 46 to where it stands now at 44. Make sure to keep your eye on this one as a November shower could rain all over your college football picks if you're not careful.

10:30 PM ET Boise State vs. Colorado State

This is the only game on the college slate today that could actually experience a snow shower. That's right, not rain but snow. The game time temperature will be perilously close to freezing and with a 40 percent chance of rain, we could easily see snow in Fort Collins, Colorado. Bovada is dealing a 58 total while virtually all of the rest of the online sportsbooks are holding fast at 57 ½. Keep your eyes on the weather in this matchup.
