College Football Underdogs had a very profitable weekend at sportsbooks, going 42-28-1 ATS despite Favorites winning SU 55 times in those 71 lined games in Week 2, with Unders also providing profits for Totals backers, hitting at a crazy 67.6% (48-23).

Underdogs 60% ATS Despite the Favorites’ 55-16 SU Record in College Football Week 2

Mamas’ Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Sports Gamblers... After the dust settled from College Football Week 2 this past weekend, it turned out to be an extremely good session for SU Favorites (55-16, 67.9%), the Home Team (46-25, 64.8%), ATS Underdogs (42-28-1, 60%), Road Teams ATS (48-22-1, 67.6%) as well as the Under (48-23, 67.6%) with the biggest upset and result which may ultimately have an impact down the road in the chase to get into the 2018 CFP Semifinals (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl this rotation) on New Year’s Day coming when (now) #8 Ohio State fell to Heisman Trophy candidate QB Baker Mayfield (25/33, 386 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs) and #2 Oklahoma at The Horseshoe in Columbus on Saturday night, 31-16 in a Big Ten Power Five humbling from the Big 12.

Head Coach Dabo Swinney (59-48-1 ATS) and defending FBS national champions and #3 Clemson (37/1 to win CFP National Championship, BetDSI)—now a spotless 18-0 SU in its L18 games before November since 2015—defeated #15 Auburn, 14-6 between the sacred hedges at Death Valley on Saturday, handing the SEC’s Tigers (25/1 to win CFP National Championship, 5Dimes) a tough early season Loss in another game that may matter in the end with QB Kelly Bryant looking good again a second straight week despite suffering an injury scare in the First Half.

Some games with significant movement from Open to Close and their results: EKU (57.8% Consensus action) was bet from +40 down to +33 and all that was winning money with the FCS side covering ATS in a 27-16 Bluegrass State loss at FBS and SEC school Kentucky...WV (69% Consensus) was wagered up from 19½ to as high as 26 (Bovada) and the Mountaineers got their backers the butter, covering easily in a 56-20 romp...#17 Louisville was bet from 6 up to (minus) 12 as North Carolina and somebody somewhere almost may have hit a Middle here with the Cardinals winning by 12 points, 47-35...Wake Forest was backed at the betting windows and went off as a PK after Boston College opened up 3-point chalks and the Demon Deacons money was smart money, as Wake won 34-10...#14 Stanford was bet heavily over #6 USC with the number moving from 10 all the way down to as low as 3½ (JustBet), but it didn’t matter in the end as the Trojans got the money, rolling to a 42-24 Pac-12 win over the Cardinal.

Also, Ball State (43.3%) saw its line move from 7 to as high as 14 (BetDSI) and all that Cardinals money ended up being smart money with Letterman U rolling UAB in Muncie, 51-31...Temple went from 9½- to big b17-point Favorites over Villanova and none of it was smart money, with FCS heavyweight Villanova covering in a 16-13 loss in their shared city of Brotherly Love...Rutgers (63.85) opened at PK -115 and went to -6 but Eastern Michigan won outright, also by the score of 16-13, meaning this may be a long season for the Scarlet Knights who actually looked fairly decent vs. Washington in Week 1...there was a load of action on MWC side Wyoming (63.9%) with the spread going from 29½ to 38½ but Cowboys backers were never covering ATS in a 27-0 win over Gardner Webb in Laramie...Oregon went from -6 to as high as 10½ (Bovada) and won by 7 (42-35) over Nebraska, so sour Ducks backers unless you laid 6 at Open...host New Mexico went from 12 down to 7 on heavy New Mexico State action and that proved to be smart money with the Aggies winning outright in Albuquerque, 30-28 (NMS +238 Moneyline, Pinnacle).
