Today we go to Brooklyn to catch our Money Line upset pick of the day. NBA odds makers have opened this game up at -6 for Golden State, but we like the rested Nets to take advantage and get the win at home.

Unbelievable Comeback
Down 26 points in the 2nd quarter and then 16 at half the Warriors made a tremendous comeback to shock the Celtics. We are not going against the Warriors for the sake of just doing it, they are a great team but the Nets have been playing well and have a good shot here. The last time the Warriors made an unbelievable comeback was February 4th against Dallas, two days later on the road they lost at Atlanta. This is a very similar situation here, except they are coming off a back to back without rest. Those kinds of games can wear on a team I don’t care who they are.

Nets Coming Home
After a tough and long road trip the Nets are playing once again on their home floor. They capped off their seven game road trip with a win over Dallas so should have some momentum here. Fortunately the trip included the all-star break which made the travel a little less taxing. Brooklyn was 6-5 in the month of February and is still in the playoff hunt. Except for a bad loss against the Wizards they have been right there in every game and beat the Clippers, Raptors, and Mavericks, all solid teams.

Check out our NBA pick for Warriors vs. Nets Against the Spread

Previous Fight
Brooklyn actually matches up with the Warriors decently well. In their previous matchup back in November they lost by 8 but held Golden State to some respectable numbers despite the final score (45% field goals and 32% from beyond the arc). The Nets did not shoot well that night and were terrible beyond the arc shooting under 20%. For February, all though their record may not have shown it, they have been playing their best basketball of the year shooting 46% and 35% beyond the arc. They know the time to make a playoff push is now, and those placing NBA Picks should also keep that in mind.

The Line and Final Points
?The NBA Odds makers have to make Golden State the favorite, but -6 shows us a lot about how they feel this game could go. I have always been a fan of Lionel Hollins and Brooklyn has not played up to their potential this year. We are making this play and grabbing the line early with the expectation that everyone will play for Golden State, but we would not be surprised if Kerr rested some guys after their incredible comeback yesterday. Although Golden State is the overall better team, we like this situation a lot and believe the Nets will pull off the upset.

NBA Pick: Brooklyn plus money line at Pinnacle
