The Bruins have turned it up a notch & will be eager to make another good impression this weekend at home to Washington State. Let's break down the college football odds that are on offer.

Odds Overview
The Bruins are on a roll right now and they're getting a lot of love from oddsmakers for this Saturday's Pac-12 battle with Washington State. At the moment, the College Football Odds board shows UCLA favored by either 10 or 10.5 points, dependent on the sportsbook you check out.

We should be expecting a high-scoring game in Los Angeles this weekend, as evident by the posted O/U of 65.5 points. UCLA and Washington State are averaging 36 and 35 points per game, respectively, so far this season.

UCLA Bruins
What a topsy turvy season it's been for UCLA. The Bruins opened with four straight wins, including triumphs over strong programs in BYU (at home) and Arizona (on the road), but they then lost consecutive games to Arizona State and then Stanford.

We've seen a great response out of UCLA however, as they've reeled off three straight wins and thus improved to 4-2 in conference play and 7-2 overall. The Bruins are ranked 18th in both the AP and Coaches polls, while averaging 36.0 points (23rd in the country) and allowing 24.6 points (54th) per game heading into the weekend.

This is an offense that's proven its capabilities thus far. Josh Rosen had done a nice job at the helm of the offense, posting an 18:7 TD:INT ratio, and his primary targets in the passing game have been Jordan Payton (752 yards and four touchdowns) and Thomas Duarte (666 yards and eight touchdowns). It's Paul Perkins who's the workhorke in this offense though; he's tallied 160 carries for 961 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns, and he's chipped in with 166 receiving yards and an additional receiving score as well. You can see why the Bruins have had so much success offensively this season.

Washington State Cougars
The Cougars are right in the thick of things in the highly competitive Pac-12. They're 4-2 in conference play and 6-3 overall, with their three losses coming against Portland State (don't ask us how that happened) and then California and Stanford.

Washington State is coming off a nice 38-24 home win over Arizona State. Once again, QB Luke Falk had a huge day, throwing for 497 yards and five touchdowns (with one interception), with Dom Williams, Jamal Morrow, Keith Harrington and John Thompson all finding the end zone. The running game was non-existent for the Cougars, but that hardly mattered given how dominant Falk and company were in the victory.

Falk already has 33 touchdown passes this season, and he's got a host of weapons to lean on, namely Williams, Gabe Marks and River Cracraft. This passing game has to be on point for Washington State to have any chance of being competitive with the Bruins here on Saturday evening.

NCAA Football Pick
As good as the Bruins have looked recently, we're forecasting a challenge from a potent Washington State team this weekend.

The Cougars are one of the few teams out there that have the offensive muscle to keep pace with UCLA, and they've already proven they can hang tough out on the road; already this season they've beaten both Oregon and Arizona away from home, and they lost to California by just six. So, we don't think they'll be intimidated by the prospects of doing battle with the Bruins here on Saturday night.

With so many weapons in the offense, and having already shown a lot of fight in the fact of tough road environments, we look for Washington State to do enough to cover this big number so make sure you add the Cougars to your collection of College Football Picks.
