What bets offer the most value when Colorado and Arizona meet in a Pac-12 showdown on Saturday?

One could argue that the Colorado Buffaloes are the worst Power 5 program in the nation. They’re 0-4 both straight up and against the spread, and they are averaging 11.8 points per game while allowing 43.3.

The Arizona Wildcats haven’t been great this season, but they do have wins over North Dakota State and San Diego State. They led at halftime of last week’s matchup against Cal, before being outscored 28-7 in the second half en route to a 49-31 loss.

Here are our top college football picks for Colorado vs. Arizona (odds via PointsBet, DraftKings Sportsbook, and FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Colorado vs. Arizona ATS Pick

Arizona -17.5 (-107) ★★★★

If the Buffaloes are catching less than three touchdowns, they must be picked against. Last week, they scored 17 points, which was the most they have scored so far this season. However, they gave up 45. It was the third time this year they allowed an opponent to score at least 40 points.

The Wildcats looked really good for 30 minutes in Week 4, but they imploded in the second half. QB Jayden de Laura has been prone to turnovers this season with six interceptions through four games. However, he also has eight touchdown passes, and he threw for 401 yards last week.

Arizona is going to clear the 40-point mark. The Buffaloes' offense has done nothing this season to even threaten scoring 20-plus points. Barring some crazy turn of events, the Wildcats are going to cover easily.

Colorado vs. Arizona O/U Pick

Over 56.5 (-110) ★★★

Will Colorado put enough points on the board for this total to cash the Over? Currently, oddsmakers have the Buffaloes’ team total set at 19.5. Their Under feels like easy money, but perhaps de Laura’s turnovers will be enough for Colorado to score three touchdowns. If they do, then this total is going Over.

Even if the Buffaloes don’t score much, the Wildcats’ offense can put a lot of points on the board. With how bad the Buffaloes’ defense has been, it’s hard to imagine them getting many stops.

Colorado vs. Arizona Prop Pick

Arizona team total Over 37.5 (+100) ★★★★

The Wildcats scored 30 or more points in two of three games this season. The only time they failed to do so was against Mississippi State. The Buffaloes have allowed 40 or more in every game this year, with the exception of their season opener in Week 0 when they allowed 38 to TCU.

Arizona was shut out 34-0 against the Buffaloes last season. That could mean that Colorado has the Wildcats’ number, or it could just mean Arizona was much worse a season ago. The Wildcats get their revenge this week, and they become the fourth team in five weeks to score over 40 points on Colorado.
