NCAA College Football Week 7 Slate Features Miami vs. Georgia Tech, Red River Rivalry

College Football Week 6 saw Oklahoma suffer the biggest dent of the weekend—losing to Iowa State at Home in Norman as monster Favorites and with the Cyclones starting QB sidelined to boot—seemingly sending the Sooners to join USC and Oklahoma State in the scrap heap of CFP Playoffs contenders from the Power Five conferences. Let’s take a look at the opening Point Spreads from Offshore sportsbook BetOnline along with the earliest movements on Sunday afternoon for the coming NCAAF Week 7 and do our weekly post-mortem on the Week 6 numbers where Road Underdogs went a profitable 33-22-3 against the number with NCAAF Unders also showing a tidy profit.

NCAAF Week 6 Good For Road Dogs, Iowa St. Wins Outright as +4500 M/L Dog at OU
Road Underdogs (33-22-3 ATS) and Unders (33-25) turned out to be the most profitable blanket decisions in NCAA Football Week 6 with both ATS Favorites (28-27-3) and Underdogs paying the juice overall with SU favorites going 46-12 from Thursday to Sunday (245-61 SU L5 weeks). Easily the biggest outright upset in Week 6 came on Saturday when Iowa State rallied to knock off #3 Oklahoma in Norman, 38-31, winning outright as 31½-point Underdogs and at a Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous +4,500 (45/1, 5Dimes) on the Moneyline. So we have seen a 31½-point chalk lose outright, a 20½-point Home Favorite (LSU) lose outright in Week 5 to Troy State (+1,125 M/L, Sports Interaction) to end the Tigers 49-game Home unbeaten streak and we’ve also seen FCS-side Howard knock off UNLV here in Las Vegas in Week 1 as lofty 45-point Home Underdogs, 43-40, beating the Rebels outright as +55,000 Moneyline underdogs (550/1, 5Dimes). And the calendar just flipped to October.

Here are all of your opening Point Spreads for College Football Week 7 from sportsbook BetOnline along with first-moves numbers from early trading Sunday afternoon after the odds were first released. You can find all of your Offshore Opening lines here at SBR.odds.com.

Some Big Week 7 Movers After Openers Released on Sunday, NCAA Football Week 6 Line Post-Mortem

Three significant early line NCAAF Week 7 movers in the first hour of trading on Sunday afternoon included Georgia Tech who quickly went from 10½-point underdogs at #13 Miami Florida on Saturday to just 6-point underdogs on heavy Rambling Wreck money at BetOnline while hosts Western Michigan saw enough action to move its opening 10-point spread up to -13 (-115, BetOnline) for their MAC meeting with Akron in the Wolverine State on Saturday. Charlotte actually got some money at open, with the 49ers now just 16-point Underdogs (-105, BetOnline) for their Saturday foray to Bowling Green to face Western Kentucky which opened up as big 19-point chalks at BetOnline. And the one game which saw a Favorite-flip from post was the New Mexico-Fresno State MWC game on Saturday from Albuquerque in Week 7 which saw the Lobos open as 2-point Favorites but quickly (within an hour) be bet to 3-point Underdogs in the second time in the last four weeks the Wiseguys have changed a Favorite in a New Mexico game (Air Force opened as 1-point favorites over New Mexico in Week 5 and were quickly bet to PK status, before New Mexico—eventual 56-38 winners—closed as (rightful) 3-point Favorites.

Some College Football Week 6 games which saw significant point spread movement and the results: Host Toledo (52.1%) opened up as 9-point Favorites vs. Eastern Michigan, were bet up to as high as -14 (-105, Bovada) and underdog Eagles backers got the money no matter what line was played in a 20-15 Toledo MAC victory...Temple opened up 6-point Favorites (-105, BetOnline) and heavy Eastern Michigan money all week drove the number down to a closing (Temple minus) 3½ and anyone backing the ratty Pirates deserved to walk the plank on Saturday as the Owls flew away in the 2nd Half to 34-10 win at East Carolina, seemingly a decent result for the sportsbooks...No. 5 Georgia (62.7%) opened up at -12, were bet up to as high as -17 (BetOnline) and that all proved to be smart money as the Bulldogs remained undefeated, thumping host Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday, 45-14...Western Michigan (62.2%) opened up as 10-point Favorites and Buffalo money drove the line down to 7 but it didn’t matter in the end—when “The End” finally came—as the Bulls got the butter in an epic 71-68, 7-OT affair in the Empire State in a game which actually went Over (58) by the end of Regulation, tied at 31.

Also, UL Monroe (64.6%) went from an opening 9 to as low as a 6½-point Favorite (-103, BookMaker) at Texas State on Saturday in Week 6 and, in the end, all that Bobcats money was dumb money as the Warhawks rolled, 45-27 in San Marcos, Texas in Sun Belt Conference play...UL Lafayette opened up as 3 (+100, BetOnline) chalks and closed as high as 6½-point underdogs against and at Idaho—after a quick Favorite-flip a week ago—and the linemakers were proved to be right this time when ULL won 21-16 in Idaho, covering any-which way you had the Ragin’ Cajuns...UTSA (55.4%) saw tons of cash and went from an opening 4-point Favorite to as high as 11 vs. Southern Mississippi and the Sharps and the Public both got beat like a neon pink-haired stepchild as the Golden Eagles ended up winning outright, 31-29 in San Antonio...Hawaii (55.8%) went from a 2½-point Favorite to as high as 5½ (BookMaker) at Nevada, and the Wolf Pack rained on the Golden Rainbows parade, winning outright, 35-21 as +185 Moneyline Underdogs (5Dimes) in The Biggest Little City in the World...and, Fresno State (65.2%) were bet all the way up to 17½ from 11½ and some Pushed (17) while others Won/Lost (17½) by a hook in a 27-10 Bulldogs win at San José State at CEFCU Stadium in San José.

NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 7 EARLY LINE PICKS: Clemson -21 over Syracuse, Vanderbilt +3 -125 over Ole Miss, Central Florida -29½ -115 over East Carolina (BetOnline)
