College Football Rivalry games are just the best, they're exciting and often times unpredictable. However with an educated eye can spot a good solid betting angle to exploit, thus is the case for the Huskies vs Ducks.

 Washington (-9) vs Oregon

For those of you who heeded the advice of last week’s article entitled The CFB Double Rushers and the 200 Club, you profited handsomely with Saturday’s selections that went 6-2 ATS. Selections on this site are now 29-17 ATS with more winners on tap for this weekend.

Someone had to be the scapegoat for the Ducks’ 3 consecutive losses, 2-3 SU record and 0-4 ATS start, which has seen them fall to the number by 52 combined points. It’s just odd that is was former starting QB Dakota Prukop, who has been replaced by this week’s projected starter, Justin Herbert. After all, it was not Prukop’s fault that the Oregon defense is allowing 36 points and 491 YPG. Those deficiencies were evident last year as well, when Oregon was burned for 37/485. In the last 2 weeks, Washington St. and Colorado have put up a total of 92 points and 1,244 yards in 200 clubbing the Ducks’ defense for a pair of victories. Meanwhile, Prukop was leading the Oregon offense to a pair of 200 Club performances of their own. The next head to fall in Eugene could well be that of 4th year HC Helfrich.  But, if there was ever a time for Oregon to bounce back, it is against the rival Huskies AGAINST WHOM THEY HAVE WON AND COVERED 12 CONSECUTIVE GAMES.

Washington is off to a 5-0 SU, 3-2 ATS start, covering the number by 44 points. That makes the (-96) AFP favoring Oregon a major candidate for the AFP GOY with the attendant more than a 2 TD line swing from opening week. Hard to believe the Huskies could reach the same level of excellence they did last week in their Friday night home isolation game against the Stanford Cardinal. After sleepwalking through their first 4 contests against Rutgers, Idaho, Portland St. and injured Arizona team, Washington erupted for a 44-6 win against Stanford, in which they outgained the Cardinal 424-213.

It’s the opinion of this bureau that the Huskies do not duplicate that emotional edge, which this week belongs to series dominator, Oregon, at a huge value home underdog price. I invite you to put the College Football ODDS in your favor and join me in my College Football PICK on Oregon tonight.
