Texas Tech travels to Morgantown for this Noon ET kick against WVU, and we are ready to break down the odds and decide on a free college football pick that'll your boost your profits.

Texas Tech vs. WVU (-7-) Noon ET FS1
As with many Big 12 games this year, you can look for an offensive explosion of points from a pair of high-powered attack units. But, as we will note from the discussion below, only one of these teams has a semblance of a defense. Combined with the home-field advantage, there is a distinct edge to the WVU Mountaineers for this contest.

The season began in outstanding fashion for a WVU team who started the year 3-0 SU on this field with victories over GA Southern, Liberty and Maryland by a combined score of 130-23. Then, reality set in for the Mountaineers. In the month of October, they were asked to face Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Baylor and TCU, who have a combined 1 loss between them. Three of those 4 games (except Oklahoma St.) were played on the road. The results were predictable with the Mounties returning to Morgantown, with their tails between their legs, with a record of 0-4 SU ATS against that gauntlet, games in which they fell to the pointspread by a combined 50 points. In the high-powered Big 12, even the fact that they averaged 402 YPG in those contests did not allow them to sniff a victory. For the season, the Mounties still averaged 209/4.3 overland and 254/7.4 through the airways. It is a balanced offense that, as we saw earlier in the season against outmanned foes, was capable of putting up explosive numbers. Just such will happen today when a beleaguered WVU team returns home at 3-4 SU for the season! Good news is that 3 of their next 4 Big 12 games are at home (all in which they will be favored), while the 4th contest is at lowly Kansas. You can see there is still hope for a winning season and Bowl invite. That makes this game against TTRR a major priority!  If the Mountaineers are to win, they will have to slow down one of the most prolific offenses in the land.

Odds Overview
Texas Tech is averaging 47 PPG and over 605 YPG, including 414 through the airways with their Air Raid offense. Six times in 9 games this year, they have surpassed 600 yards. That includes last week at home against Oklahoma St. when they totaled 642 yards. Unfortunately for the Red Raiders, they are unable to stop the wind. They allow 43 PPG on 7.0 YP play (among the worst in the nation). That includes 274/6.0 overland and 302/8.3 through the air. We want no part of a defense that has allowed 617 yards or more on 5 different occasions.

Combination of the better defense and the home field key the victory at this value price with my college football pick against TTRR, as the defensive dud of the week. Put the college football odds in your favor and lay the price.
