Let’s take a closer look at the college football betting lines for this Pac-12 Conference matchup, with the opening kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The Oregon Ducks will host ESPN’s College GameDay Saturday, as they prepare to take on the UCLA Bruins at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.

Patchwork offensive line

UCLA’s patchwork offensive line couldn’t hold back Stanford’s physical defensive front last Saturday—resulting in a 24-10 setback as 4.5-point road underdogs on most college football odds boards.

Offensively, the team still ranks 15th nationally in averaging 500.2 yards of total offense, with quarterback Brett Hundley leading the charge with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions.

The Bruins are 7-10 SU against ranked opponents since 2010, as they try to pick up their first win over the Ducks since 2007.

Absolutely rolling

Oregon ranks second nationally in averaging 57.6 points per game, which has played a major part in the program’s 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS record through seven games during the 2013 campaign.

The Ducks pace the country with 66 plays of 20 or more yards, while sophomore signal-caller Marcus Mariota has thrown at least one touchdown in all 20 games of his career.

Since 2011, the team is 21-2 SU and 16-6-1 ATS versus Pac-12 opponents, with the OVER going 15-8 in that situation.

Not a great situation

College football handicappers may find some value in the road underdog in this spot, but the Bruins are 0-4 SUATS as conference road underdogs of 13 or more points.

UCLA is also 1-5 ATS in its six losses during the Jim Mora era in Westwood—failing to cover those five spread defeats by an average of 18.9 points.

Series history

The Ducks have compiled a 26-39 SU all-time record against the Bruins, but they’ve won nine of the last 11 meetings in the series.

It’s important to point out that the underdog is on a 7-3 ATS run between these two teams, with the OVER going 3-1-1 in the last five games in Eugene.

I’m going to recommend that readers back the Ducks for their college football picks, as they’ve gone 26-8-1 ATS in their last 35 games in October.

Don't go overboard with your bankroll in this spot, considering Oregon opened up as 17.5-point home favorites.
