It's crunch time in college football as you have a ton of inter-conference matchups with bowl implications. It's time to make our betting picks as I see a few matchups in which the bettor has a decisive edge.

#2 Oregon Ducks (10-1, 7-1) vs. Oregon State Beavers (5-6, 2-6)
Civil War Game
Don't expect this to be much of a war. The Ducks know what they have to do and that's win tonight and win in the Pac-12 championship game against a team that would be a much inferior opponent and they would be playoff- bound.

Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariotta also has a legitimate shot at winning the Heisman Trophy so now isn't the time for the Ducks to slip up on the road even against a sub-500 football team.

Oregon doesn't face the competition than that of the SEC, but they've had some really convincing wins. Their offense has scored 38 points or more in 10 of 11 games and the Beavers allow over 30 points per game. Look for Oregon to make a big impression on the pollsters as they put up a huge number in Reser Stadium on national television.

Near Perfection
You can't have a better season than the one that Marcus Mariotta has had. Mariotta has 3103 yards passing with an amazing 32 TD's and just 2 INT's. Mariotta can hurt an opposing team on the ground or through the air. He's also a threat to take off like he did in his last game, an easy victory over Colorado. 1000 yard receiver Royce Freeman enables Mariotta and the Ducks to open up the passing game. Their top 5 receivers have 4 touchdowns or more and have caught for 350 yards or more. This offense is dominant.

The Oregon State Beavers do have a formidable offense with quarterback Sean Mannion leading the way. Mannion has thrown for over 3000 yards himself and has two solid runners in Storm Woods and Terron Wood that he can rely on, but the Beavers defense is their Achilles heel and look for Mariotta and the Ducks to embarrass the Beavers on their home field in a shootout.

College Football Pick: Oregon -19 at Bodog

#15 Auburn Tigers (8-3, 4-3) vs. #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (10-1, 6-1)
The Iron Bowl
This is a huge game for the Crimson Tide not just because of the massive playoff implications, but this is the Iron Bowl and these two universities take this rivalry very serious.

As I was stating earlier; While Mariotta and the Ducks get a cupcake in Oregon State, Alabama will have the test of their collegiate lives in quarterback Nick Marshall and the Auburn Tigers.

I really thought that Marshall pulled a choke job as he faced the Georgia Bulldogs in a game where he could've gotten revenge, but the Tigers came back strong with an easy win over Samford, 31-7. Marshall isn't going to win any Heisman Trophies with his numbers, but he's capable of pulling off an upset if all the stars are aligned and he play's the perfect game.

Cameron Artis- Payne
If the Tide can hold Payne in check, they win this game. Payne has score a touchdown in each of his last 5 games and has rushed for 1405 yards and 11 TD's on the season. Combined with quarterback Nick Marshall, the tandem has rushed for 22 touchdowns and it really gives one of the best defenses in the country in Alabama, something to think about. Alabama ranks 2nd in the nation in points allowed at 14.5 per game.

Concern For Cooper
Superstar Amari Cooper will definitely play in this game, but he's banged up. This is cause for concern as most of the passing game goes through Cooper. On the season, Cooper has caught for 1349 yards and 11 TD's, but in his last 3 games, he's been under the 100 yard mark.

We should see a lot of T.J. Yeldon (758 yards 6 TD's) and Derrick Henry (682 yards, 7 TD's) in this game, but Yeldon is also injured and will give it a go. The Alabama defense will need to step up in a major way or Nick Marshall and the Tigers could ruin their season.

College Football Pick: Auburn +9 at 5Dimes
