The big college football moves from the opening line are all charted right here. See what the college odds are and where the sharp money is early in the week.
101 Toledo/102 Central Michigan- Toledo opened -4.5, down to -4 with some of the sharper action on the dog, but nothing major. Public on the favorite. Should be a great game.
103 Kent State/104 Ohio- Not much movement on this game. Ohio either 6.5 or -7. No wiseguys action yet, the public is pretty split.
113 Louisiana Lafayette/114 South Alabama- U La La opened a short 1 point favorite, but the sharp money has been on South Alabama, now at S Ala -2.5.
119 Tulsa/120 Cincinnati- Cincy opened -16, sharp and public money on the chalk, Cincy now up to -17.5 on the college football odds board.
127 Michigan/128 Indiana- Michigan opened -11.5, now as high as -13, but mostly -12.5. Public and some sharp money on the Wolverines, who are still in the hunt for a B1G championship. If they win that, who knows? The national championship is not out of reach yet.
133 Maryland/134 Michigan State- Mich State opened -18, bet down to -15 with wiseguy money. Maryland has been vastly improved since dumping Randy Edsall. Michigan State has had trouble covering numbers all year.
141 Clemson/142 Syracuse- Clemson opened -26.5, now up to -27.5. More sharp than public money behind this move.
143 Temple/144 South Florida- Temple opened -4, bet down to -3 with sharp money. South Florida has been a wiseguy favorite all season.
147 UTEP/148 Old Dominion- UTEP opened -3.5, now up to -4 and -4.5, strictly on public money.
153 Kentucky/154 Vanderbilt- Vandy opened -4, bet down to -3 with sharp money. Public looks like it is also slightly behind Kentucky with their college football picks as well.
155 Purdue/156 Northwestern- Northwestern opened -13, public and sharp money on the favorite. Northwestern now -14.5.
165 Washington State/166 UCLA- UCLA opened –7.5 and -8, now up to -9 and -9.5. Both teams have been on the rise lately, but wiseguys have more faith in UCLA. So far, anyway.
187 Oklahoma/188 Baylor- Baylor opened -4 or -5, depending on your source. Public and wiseguys have been all over Oklahoma from the start. Baylor now -2.5 or -3. Oklahoma found its running game a few weeks ago, and since then has been some of the best football in the country. This should be a good one.
189 BYU/190 Missouri- I was surprised so many books opened this game, considering all the turmoil at Missouri. You never know how these things will work for a particular team. It will either bind them together or split them apart. BYU was mostly -3.5 for those that opened early. Now I see anywhere from -4.5 to -5.5. This will be an interesting one to watch.
201 Virginia/202 Louisville- Louisville opened -10, went as high as -14 before some value seekers came back on Virginia. It has been teetering back and forth the past day between -13 and -14, mostly settling in at -13.5.
