Stanford is at a high point in the program, playing some of the best football in the country & setting its sights on the Pac-12 title. Lets review the odds for Saturday's game against Washington.

Momentum
The Huskies don’t have much of it after losing at home to Oregon last weekend. This was viewed as a big chance for Washington to snap an 11-game losing streak to the Ducks, their regional rival and arch-nemesis. However, the Huskies just couldn’t move the ball very consistently in this game. They labored on offense and did not have the vertical passing game needed to expose Oregon’s secondary and linebackers. Other teams with better quarterbacks have been able to make the Ducks’ defense look foolish, but Washington is not one of those teams. The Huskies played extremely well on defense, holding Oregon under 30 points, but they just didn’t have enough firepower to win that game. With regular quarterback Jake Browning being listed as questionable for this game, it’s possible that K.J. Carta-Samuels will have to lead this offense onto the field against Stanford.

The Cardinal are feeling very good about themselves after whipping UCLA last Thursday. The Stanford offense has really taken flight after two poor games to start the season. Stanford was flat in early September but then, like a rusty machine which works out the kinks and begins to flow a lot more smoothly, the Cardinal offense is now humming along. Quarterback Kevin Hogan is throwing an extremely accurate ball, and running back Christian McCaffery is moving up the charts in the Heisman Trophy race. The defense is a concern, though, and that’s really what people should be watching in this game – the matchup between Washington’s offense and Stanford’s defense. That will show us how close this game is going to be.

Line Moves
Betting lines where just released for this game  due to Washigton's number one quarterback, Jake Browning shoulder injury status. Browning still questionable this Saturday vs. the #10 Cardinal team which is favored by 19 points in the college football odds board.

Notable Injuries
Washington offensive lineman Dane Crane is out for the season with a back injury. Cornerback Austin Joyner is out for the season with a knee injury. Wide receiver John Ross is out for the season with a knee injury. Starting quarterback Jake Browning is questionable with a shoulder injury. Tight end David Ajamu is out for the season with a knee injury.

Stanford has defensive lineman Harrison Phillips listed as being out for the season with a knee injury. Linebacker Kevin Anderson is questionable for this game with an ankle injury. Linebacker Noor Davis is questionable with a leg injury.

Handicapping The Game
Washington surprised a lot of people when it beat USC on the road a few weeks ago, but can that Washington team slow down Stanford enough to create another low-scoring defensive game? That’s the big question before kickoff on Saturday night.

The Cardinal are way too strong and powerful for the Huskies. The Washington offense is not likely to score a lot, and Stanford’s offense should score at least 35 points if not 38 or 42. Stanford wins big so take them with your College Football Picks.
