Tennessee vs. Northwestern 12:00 PM ET
Northwestern has quietly gone about its business this season in a workmanlike manner. When the regular season was all said and done, they finished with an excellent 10-2 record. The Wildcats had quality wins over Stanford, at Duke, and against Wisconsin. Their defense has been terrific in 2015, allowing just 16.4 points and 310.5 yards per game.

Tennessee finished the regular season on a five game winning streak. However, those five wins all came against teams that finished with a losing record, and went a cumulative 18-42 (.300) in 2015.

This is too much underdog value for me to pass on, and one of my Friday college football picks will reflect that sentiment.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2960438, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
College Football Picks: Northwestern +8.5 (-104)
Best Line Offered: at 5Dimes

<var>Cash a Winning Ticket In New Year's Day With Our Top Friday Plays</var>

Notre Dame vs. Ohio State 1:00 PM ET.
Notre Dame could have easily finished 12-0 instead of 10-2. Their only two losses came at #1 Clemson 24-22 and at #6 Stanford 38-36. On both occasions they failed to convert on a two point conversion late in the 4th quarter which would’ve tied the game.

I can certainly make the same case for Ohio State. The Buckeyes only loss came in game 11 of the season. Michigan State kicked a field goal with no time left in the game to knock off Ohio State by a score of 17-14. It seems unfathomable to say that a team which finished 11-1 underachieved, but that was the case for Ohio State. The defending national champions returned a plethora of starters, yet struggled to win against teams like Northern Illinois and Indiana. The flip side of the equation was their blowout win in Ann Arbor during its regular season finale. The playoff committee obviously saw the same things I did.

This has all the makings of a game that goes right down to the wire. Current college football betting odds at provides me the best number for this specific wager.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2960412, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
College Football Picks: Notre Dame +7.0 (-115)
Best Line Offered: at Youwager

Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma State 8:30 PM ET
Despite their very good 10-2 record, I don’t like the way Oklahoma State finished the season. During their final five games, the Cowboys allowed 43.2 points and 588.0 yards per game. After starting 10-0, Oklahoma State dropped their last two games to Baylor 45-35 and Oklahoma 58-23. Even more alarming in regards to those results was both defeats came at home.

If a team is struggling defensively like Oklahoma State is, Ole Miss has the offensive weaponry to kick them while they’re down. The Rebels are averaging 40.2 points scored and 514.7 yards gained per game. Ole Miss also owns quality wins this season over Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State.

I like the favorite in this Sugar Bowl matchup to come away with a decisive win.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2960414, "sportsbooksIds":[169,1096,93,19,92,238], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
College Football Picks: Ole Miss -7.0 (-114)
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle
