The UTEP Miners are in a whole world of trouble as they face the powerful offense of the Conference USA's West Division Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Check our college football pick inside.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST on Sautrday, Novemeber 21st at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas. Odds makers agree as Louisiana Tech is a 23 point betting favorite on the road on the college football odds. No total is available as of yet, but keep checking with and a total will be posted very shortly.

Points and More Points
They can beat the opposition in so many different ways. The Bulldogs possess a very reliable starting quarterback in Jeff Driskel, who has thrown for over 3000 yards to go along with 19 TD and 5 INT. They also have a runner in Kenneth Dixon, who knows how to find the endzone. For the season, Dixon has 17 TD's rushing and 20 TD's overall to go along with 933 yards on the ground rushing at an amazing 6.3 yards per carry.

The Louisiana Tech receiver corp is also stacked, led by 5 foot 8 junior, Trent Taylor, who has an amazing 75 receptions for 1019 yards and 7 TD's on the season. I don't see any way that the UTEP Miners defense can stop this powerful offense.

In their last 3 games alone, Louisiana Tech has averaged 44.3 points per game while their defense has been up to the task, allowing just 15.3 points per contest.

Granted, their level of opposition hasn't been the best ,but the Bulldogs have been handling every team that's on their schedule recently and dominating the games to go along with it.

Next Victim
The UTEP Miners get the honors and while this is a team that's had a few decent moments along the way, they have a poor defense and this is a team that's taylor-made for a emphatic beating when they host the Bulldogs.

5 foot 10 inch starting quarterback, Mack Leftwich will get the start and for a quarterback that's short, Leftwich accuracy leaves a lot to be desired at a 54.7% completion rate, but he doesn't throw many interceptions and that can come in handy when facing inferior squads.

In 7 games this season, Leftwich has thrown for 1228 yards with 9 TD and 3 INT. One of UTEP's strengths is their offensive line as Leftwich has only been sacked 4 times.

UTEP's offense is very deep in the running and passing game, but their problem is they can't get into the endzone running the ball. They have just 7 rushing touchdowns this season and they don't have 1 definitive superstar to rely on in crucial situations.

Jermemiah Laufasa leads all rushers with just 298 yards on 3.7 yards per carry and wide receiver, Jaquan White will get in the endzone (7 TD) and leads the team in receiving yards (406 yards), but he's not a consistent enough player to count on as the Miners look for him when they're in the red zone.

23 points sounds like a lot to lay on the road and for a team with 3 losses, but some games are about styles and the Miners are the perfect opponent for Louisiana Tech, add them on your college football picks.
