Our college football analyst shares his five underdogs that he believes has a realistic chance of winning outright. Go inside to find out those college football picks.

College Football Upset Alerts
I’ve isolated five games on Saturday’s huge college football card that I deem the underdogs to have a realistic chance of pulling the outright upset.

Louisiana Tech vs. Mississippi State Noon ET
Louisiana Tech enters this week with a 4-2 record. Their two losses came at Western Kentucky (6-1) 41-38, and at Kansas State 39-33 in overtime. That’s the same Kansas State team that gave #3 TCU a huge scare a week ago. The Louisiana Tech quarterback is former Florida signal caller Jeff Driskell. All Driskell has done is throw for 1812 yards, rushed for another 211, and has personally accounted for 15 touchdowns in the first six games of the season. Mississippi State is the more athletic and deeper team in this matchup. However, Louisiana Tech has the ingredients to make this a much closer game than expected.

College Football Pick: Louisiana Tech +13.5 (-106) at Pinnacle

Pittsburgh vs. Georgia Tech 12:30 PM ET
When scanning the college football odds for Saturday, this game clearly stood out to me. The Yellow Jackets have lost four games in a row, and they’ve been decimated by injuries to their all important running back position. The Georgia Tech defense certainly hasn’t picked up the slack, allowing an average of 36.3 points and 419.0 yards per game during their current losing streak. Pittsburgh enters this week with a record of 4-1, has gone 3-0 ATS on the road, and their only loss was a narrow 27-24 defeat at #17 Iowa.

College Football Pick: Pittsburgh +3.5 (-105) at TheGreek

Nebraska vs. Minnesota 3:30 PM ET
The Nebraska Cornhuskers could realistically be 6-0 this year instead of their current record of 2-4. Their four defeats came by a combined 11 points, and all of those losses have come in heartbreaking fashion. Minnesota is 4-2 and with a little less luck could’ve been 1-5. They’ve had narrow victories over Colorado State 23-20 in overtime, Kent State 10-7, and Ohio University 27-24. The last I checked none of those three opponents reside in a “Power Five Conference”.

College Football Pick: Nebraska +2.5 (-105) at 5Dimes

Florida vs. LSU 7:00 PM ET
I fully expect the Florida defense to dare LSU to throw the ball by stacking the box. After all the Tigers are averaging just 122 yards passing per game. I just think that Florida has enough juice to stay with LSU right down to the wire. I wouldn’t be shocked to see an outright upset in this game, but we’ll take the points as an additional bonus for one of my college football picks.

College Football Pick: Florida +7.5 (-115) at Bovada

Oregon vs. Washington 10:30 PM ET
Oregon is coming off a disheartening loss as a 17.0 point home favorite to Washington State. Washington is coming off a road upset win as a 16.5 point underdog at USC. College football ATS history overwhelmingly favors an underdog coming off a conference loss as a double digit favorite, versus an opponent coming off an upset win as a double digit underdog. Besides, Oregon hasn’t lost two games in a row since 2007, and has gone 13-0 following a defeat since the onset of the 2008 season. The Ducks are also 5-0 SU&ATS in their last five conference away games, and won by a decisive average of 20.6 points per contest.

College Football Pick: Oregon +3.0 (-105) at Heritage
