Join Capper Troy West as he previews his college football pick for week 3 of the CFB betting card this Saturday between Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Arkansas Razorbacks.

Texas Tech vs.  Arkansas  7:00 EST.
Arkansas is a 12.5 point College Football Odds favorite with the total set at an amazingly high 70.5.

Arkansas Recap
In a shocker, a two final Arkansas throws into the end zone misfired. The Hogs tried to come back with a 25-yard Cole Hedlund field goal, and Toledo taking a safety for field position, but the final pass flew through the back of the end zone.
Toledo almost never had the ball, but made the most of its chances with a five-yard Corey Jones scoring catch in the first and an 11-yard Damion Jones-Moore touchdown run in the third for a 16-7 lead. Alex Collins ran for a 21-yard score for the Hogs in the second.  – Brandon Allen completed 32-of-53 passes for 412 yards with a pick. Hunter Henry caught eight passes for 117 yards.  Alex Collins ran 20 times for 54 yards and a score.  Arkansas held the ball for close to 38 minutes, but averaged just 3.3 yards per carry.

Texas Tech Recap
Patrick Mahomes threw four touchdown passes including a 60-yarder just over a minute into the game to Jakeem Grant, and finished out the first quarter with a 46-yard Justin Stockton scoring play for a 17-7 lead. UTEP looked like it was going to make it a game with a 91-yard Aaron Jones scoring dash to pull within three, and then Mahomes cranked up two short second quarter touchdown runs and found Reginald Davis for a 35-yard touchdown on the way to a 38-point scoring run. DeAndre Washington finished it off with a 51-yard touchdown dash.
UTEP stopped madness for a second with a 42-yard Jay Mattox field goal, but Davis Webb came in and ran for two short scores for the Red Raiders.  – It’s a different Texas Tech team this year. It’s playing with more confidence and, seemingly, more of an attitude. The offense was relentless on the way to 674 yards.  Patrick Mahomes completed 18-of-33 passes for 361 yards and four scores, and ran for 23 yards and two touchdowns. Jakeem Grant caught seven passes for 141 yards and a score.  The running game rocked, too. DeAndre Washington ran 12 times for 138 yards and a score.

Game Hype
Just when it seemed like Arkansas was starting to grow into a potentially dangerous threat to the playoff chase, boom. Toledo came in and pulled of a massive upset to shake up the SEC. The Hogs can still be just fine, but they need to bounceback in a hurry against a hot Texas Tech team that’s ripped through the first two games without a problem. The former Southwest Conference brothers played last year for the first time since 1991, with the Hogs winning 49-28.

Major Line Move Alert!
Game has gone from Ark favored by 10.5 to 12.5 and a huge move in the total cannot be ignored 64.5 to 70.5!!
Alex Collins ran for 212 yards and two scores in last year’s win over the Red Raiders. He has just 181 yards and two scores on the year. This week he gets the ball, and the Hogs get back on track. The Texas Tech passing attack should be effective, but Arkansas will hold on to the ball and control the game throughout. Expect a far different, far better team this week. Pound the Over as your College Football Pick for sure Folks and we also believe Pig Sooey gets back in the Win column

Predicted Final Score: Arkansas 44 Texas Tech 31.
