Will Anu Solomon be active for this hugely important Pac-12 showdown against Stanford? He remains questionable, with the college football odds showing the Cardinal as strong favorites to win.

Odds Overview
The College Football Odds are very much in Stanford's favor at home, despite the fact Arizona has shown some great things this season.

As of now, we see the Cardinal laying 13.5 points at a vast majority of the top online sportsbooks, with only one or two 13s sprinkled in. If you're more interested in a total play, you can find that number at 60.5 for now.

Stanford Cardinal
Since an opening road loss to a surprisingly good Northwestern team, the Cardinal have reeled off three consecutive victories. During the streak, they've beaten UFC (31-7), USC (41-31) and Oregon State (42-24). It's been a great response from Stanford, particularly on the offensive end of the spectrum; they've scored 31+ points in three consecutive games.

Kevin Hogan has been solid as a rock for the team, throwing for 938 yards while posting a 7:2 TD:INT ratio, and he's been spreading the wealth around. Five different receivers have logged more than 100 yards receiving and at least one touchdown to boot. As for the running game, Christian McCaffrey is getting most of the work; he's run 88 times for 445 yards but has yet to reach the end zone. Barry Sanders and Remound Wright have been the vultures near the goal line, having already totaled eight touchdowns between them.

The Cardinal haven't been nearly as dominant defensively as we're used to seeing, but they're still pulling off great wins, namely that road triumph over USC. Now they return home for a three-game stretch, starting with this visit of Arizona. A fourth straight victory appears to be almost a certainty, although stranger things have happened in the world of college football.

Arizona Wildcats
The Wildcats pretty much cruised through their first three games, but they met their match last week, losing 56-30 to UCLA. Starting QB Anu Solomon had to leave the game early after sustaining a concussion, and backup Jerrard Randall was unable to make enough plays to guide Arizona to the win. It didn't help that the defensive display was atrocious out of the Wildcats.

Obviously though, the status of Solomon is the biggest issue surrounding this game. Randall has proven to be an incredibly dangerous runner and does give the offense a different dimension, but at the same time he's not nearly as good in the passing game, and that's an issue with this upcoming matchup against an athletic Stanford defense. Randall was 4-of-16 for 45 yards with one touchdown and one pick when he came on in relief of Solomon against the Bruins.

We'll have to keep tracking the status of Solomon leading up until kickoff, as that will clearly make an impact on how the lines shake out.

NCAA Football Pick
With those question marks surrounding Solomon, it's very difficult to put any trust into Arizona. He's been incredible for the team this season and him not playing would be a massive blow.

On the other side, you've got a Stanford team that's getting healthier and healthier, and they'll of course have the benefit of being at home for this key conference clash.

So, with our College Football Picks, we're not going to shy away from backing the Cardinal just because the line is so high. There's a good chance Solomon will miss this game, which would leave Arizona likely struggling to keep pace. We're not going to mess with the uncertainty that comes with the Wildcats' QB situation, so we'll back the home team on this occasion.
