Arkansas State has persevered through numerous coaching changes this decade, which makes it a dangerous underdog against Toledo in trying to capture the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl.

Sticking Around
Arkansas State has won three consecutive games at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL, which can’t be ignored when making your college football picks, including two victories in the last two installments of the GoDaddy Bowl.

The Red Wolves have had five different head coaches in as many years, but Blake Anderson is sticking around after guiding the program to a fourth straight winning season.

It’s important to point out that the program has compiled a 4-6-1 SU all-time record in postseason play, as it prepares to face Toledo for the third time in its history.

Over the last two-plus seasons, the squad is 4-7 SU and 8-3 ATS as underdogs, with the UNDER going 6-5 in that situation.

Getting Offensive
Toledo features a high-powered offense that led the Mid-American Conference in averaging 486.3 yards per game, which is important to consider when looking over the college football odds, as its top three players under center suffered injuries at one point.

The Rockets aren’t too concerned about their quarterback situation, as running back Kareem Hunt gained 1,360 yards on the ground—made possible by ranking second in the country in picking up 7.86 yards per carry.

Since the start of the 2012 campaign, the team is 2-1 SU and 0-3 ATS when playing with two weeks or more of rest, with the OVER cashing in two of those three opportunities.

Closing Games Out
Sports bettors will be interested in backing the Red Wolves in live betting during the final 15 minutes of play, as they outscored opponents by a 132-76 margin in the fourth quarter during the regular season.

Arkansas State’s offense will be motivated throughout, as it needs just 24 points to break the single-season school-record for points scored, with quarterback Fredi Knighten looking to improve upon his 2,874 passing yards and 19 touchdowns with seven interceptions.

Lining It Up
With a competitive point spread in the marketplace, the Rockets may win this game by a field goal, which wouldn’t be surprising due to possessing the most accurate kicker in MAC history.

Senior Jeremiah Detmer has connected on 65-of-77 of his field-goal attempts since arriving on campus—a big reason why the school one all eight of its games in straight-up fashion as a favorite.

I’m going to recommend that readers back the Red Wolves as one of their top football underdog picks, as they’ve gone 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games versus teams with a winning record.
