Despite the public blindly backing Michigan, and with good reason, don't count out Colorado. Our college football betting expert provides a very interesting take for his NCAAF pick for this Saturday.

<p><span style="font-size:18px"><a href="" title="Live Odds For This Game"><strong>Colorado </strong><strong>vs Michigan (-20) 3:30 ET</strong></a></span><br />Each week on these pages, I will point out a PERCEPTION/REALITY game in which the public is in love with the reputation of one of the teams but has become disenchanted with the opponent. Each of today’s opponents is off to a 2-0 SU ATS start to the 2016 season. While the public is quick to knee-jerk toward traditional power, Michigan under 2nd year HC Harbaugh, they have been slow to follow the rebounding Buffalo, who entering this year were just 10-27 SU for 4th year HC McIntyre. </p><p> </p><p>There is good reason to love the Wolverines! With 14 returning starters in Harbaugh’s 2nd season, they have covered as big favorite against outmanned Hawaii and UCF, winning by a combined score of 114-17, covering by 22 combined points. That will get you a lot of love from the public when you are perceived to be a team who will contend for the Big 10 Title. With the 2 point spread victories, Harbaugh is now 6-2 ATS as home chalk at Ann Harbor and 6-3 ATS laying 10 or more points. Yet, the value in today’s game lies with the visiting Buffalo, as they catch the host in a direct look ahead to Penn St. and Wisconsin on this field (that’s right, Michigan starts with 5 consecutive home games) in the next 2 weeks.</p><p> </p><p>The transition for Colorado under Coach Mac has been a bit slower. Now in his 4th season with 18 returning starters (nearly all of his own recruits), Colorado is clearly playing their best ball in many recent seasons. It began last season when Colorado covered 4 of their last 6 games, despite a team that was clearly going nowhere. It has continued this year with those 18 RS and 62 LM beginning 2-0 SU ATS beating Colorado St. and Idaho St. by a combined 100-14, covering the number by a combined 36 points. The offense and defense have been equally impressive with the Buffs averaging 261 overlands and 327 through the airways while allowing their opponents an average of only 155 YPG. </p><p> </p><p>Yet, because of the PERCEPTION of Michigan as a top-rung team, all the value remains in this betting line. Sign us up for a 2-0 SU ATS 20 point dog with 18 returning starters in our PERCEPTION/REALITY GAME OF THE WEEK.
